Great location close to metro stop, restaurants and cafes, and in a walkable neighborhood. Quiet and decently sized rooms. Efficient staff and nice lobby.

Cons:

Rundown (the towels were clean, but were frayed and had large holes, peeling wallpaper). Lack of digital thermostat made temperature control challenging. No power outlets near the bedside.

Water does not go away from the sink, and it didn’t get fixed although we asked the reception two times. Facilities and lighting was also poor. Some towels smell.

Pros:

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Ich habe nach einem late Checkout gefragt und konnte das Zimmer eine Stunde später verlassen, was wirklich toll war.
Das Bett ist bequem und das Zimmer, das ist hatte, war sehr ruhig (zur Straße wird es vermutlich nicht so sein). Die Lage ist ok, aber man ist nicht in irgendeinem Touri-Gebiet. Der Bus hält direkt vor der Haustür, zur U-Bahn ist es ein paar Minuten (Achtung: hügelig), ich bin mit Uber überall gut hingekommen.
Gut fand ich den Parkettboden, es war dadurch sauber.
Abgesehen vom Kaffee war das Frühstück sehr lecker mit vielen frischen Kuchen und Obst. Praktisch ist der Wasserkocher am Zimmer.

Cons:

Insgesamt ist das Hotel sichtbar in die Jahre gekommen. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten könnten ganz einfach verbessert werden: Nur drei Steckdosen sind mir zu wenig, ich hatte aber zum Glück ein Verlängerungskabel dabei, was auch das Hotel bereitstellen könnte.
Die Ablageflächen sind sehr begrenzt (mir deutlich zu wenig) und es gibt nicht eine einzige Möglichkeit, Kleidung mit einem Kleiderbügel aufzuhängen. Auch der eine kleine Papierkorb im Badezimmer war zu wenig für mich.
Der Frühstücksraum ist im Keller und hat mir nicht gefallen. Den Kaffee aus dem Automaten mochte ich nicht. Frischer Kaffee (zum sonst sehr guten Frühstück) wäre ein Gewinn!
Der TV ist klein, hat nur ein paar internationale Sender (keinen deutschen) und keinen Sleep-Timer. Das ließe sich auch schnell ändern.
Den Umgang mit der Klimaanlage verstehe ich nicht. Selbst wenn man sie ausschaltet, kann es sein, dass das Reinigungspersonal sie wieder einschaltet. Die ist dann den ganzen Tag am, was ich für Energieverschwendung halte. Ich habe das Fenster immer offen gelassen, was jeden Tag vom Personal geschlossen wurde (Hinweise an der Rezeption haben nichts geändert). Mir war es damit oft zu kalt im Zimmer.
Völlig unverständlich ist, dass ich nicht schon am Abend vor der Abreise die Rechnung haben konnte, obwohl ich alles gezahlt habe.
