Pros:

This is the fourth time we have stayed. Every time we ask for a certain room (ground floor as my wife was recovering from surgery), they always accommodate. Also, our last visit before this one, we just got back from America and we arrived 3 hours before check-in. We were very tired but they checked us in straight away. There's no restaurant (plenty in the town), no frills, but you'll have a comfortable stay with friendly staff. The cost of the rooms is great.

Dirty, noisy and hard as hell beds.

The hotel is on a busy road, not quiet. As you enter the hotel it appears run down and dirty with the entrance hall and stair carpets to the rooms having large stains and fraying, and it smells off. The room was very hot, the windows did not open wide but when open the sound of the traffic, drunks, town and church bells chiming every 15 minutes meant they had to be closed. A very noisy free standing fan had been provided, which could not be run all night because this is a fire hazard. But the worst part was the bed, it was so hard I had to turn from side to side every 20 minutes to relieve the pain in my hip and the numbness to my arm! I did not sleep at all and left the hotel unseen because there were no morning staff about.

I stayed two nights to attend an event but I was glad to leave because the bed was very uncomfortable

Location is fantastic and rooms are clean. Staff are friendly and polite

Cons:

No restaurant you will have to order breakfast from outside
The bed in the room I slept in was uncomfortable. The room also has little space. Ventilation was also poor and the standing fan in the room was of no help at all

Perfectly fine for the night
Pros:

Perfectly fine for one night, which was all we needed, after a festival. Had a perfectly good bed (double as part of the family room, which was the one available at the time of booking) and bathroom, which is what we needed. Helpful to have a small car park for guests/those dropping off (remember to enter the number plate). The staff were really helpful.

Cons:

As part of the family room there is a main room with two twin beds and kitchenette plus table and chairs, then a bathroom off the side, a double room off the side too, and a tiny single bed room. The last one smelled really odd - we kept the door closed and it was fine as we didn't need it but needs sorting out.

Functional and friendly
Pros:

Good welcome and care. We've been here before and all we wanted was a place to sleep and shower whiled attending nearby festival, Convenient parking and easy to come and go. Allowed to check in early
