Pros:

Een prachtig country house met prima ontvangst, plezierig en behulpzaam personeel, een goede keuken en mooie kamers. Kortom top!

Cons:

Het enige min-puntje is het geluid van de snelweg. Nu hadden wij de prachtige zolderkamer, dus die is wat gehoriger.

A very pleasant stop for us between Hermanus and Plettenberg Bay
Pros:

The overall setting and atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

A little too close to the road meaning vehicles could be heard disturbing what was otherwise a lovely tranquil setting.

The listing could say more about what else is within range such as Swellendam’s well regarded 9 hole golf course and Bontebok National Park.

Pros:

The gentleman named Koenie at the reception was amazingly accommodating and friendly. We were showing Canadian friends of ours the country and think he was the perfect host to start off with. The food in the restaurant was well prepared and scrumptious right down to the last crumb, a verdict from the full party of four. Our waitress Ciska was absolutely on the ball and waited on us on beck and call. She definitely rounded off our evening. What an amazing venue and our Canadian friends were completely taken a back by the experience.

Such an amazing time!
Pros:

What an amazing place to stay! We were looked after from the second we arrived, to the time we left! The cherry on the top was the fact that the Country Estate we decided to stay at was the Pomegranate Farm my favorite sparkling juice comes from, so a big bonus for me! Highly recommend & so central to visit other wine farms in the area.

Pros:

Wir waren eine Nacht bei Jan Harmsgat auf der Durchreise. Das Anwesen ist sehr schön und das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut. Der Pool lädt zum entspannen und verweilen ein. Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft.
