Love the lakeside manor it is a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The food is amazing complements to the chef. Excellent as always. the staff are great . Friendly and very welcoming and bar staff are great. Sammy cocktails are great. .

Cons:

Reception area too crowded with furniture and yet not much place to sit- pile of furniture directly in front of desk !
Staff friendly buy no one seemed to have a particular job- bar staff in kitchen, receptionist in bar and no one available when needed.
Most annoying was a carpet cleaner on our corridor on checkin and had to drag cases over hoover/cleaner leads! Terrible smell in morning on this corridor which we were told was due to a leak previous day- hence the cleaner!

Overall a dissappointing stay but at least room was comfortable

Cons:

The service was very slow at breakfast. Hotel decor very outdated. The thermostat in the room was difficult to control.
