Lovely place with friendly staff and very tasty food.
Pros:

Friendly staff.Very food food.

Cons:

Service,insufficient staff on.No drinks waiter, asked rwice for our drinks bedore meal.Finished meal but still no wine...
One bar man and 2 waitresses doing their best for a fully booked hotel on bank holiday weekend doesnt make sense.

Given the name of a local taxi driver no sign on the car or meter 5 minute journey a flat rate of 20 euro totally ripped off I wouldn't be giving Tom's number out would be my advice

3 star hotel could do with improvement
Pros:

The location was lovely and bedrooms with balcony gorgeous. The staff were lovely and we managed to get food past 9pm at short notice.

Cons:

The breakfast took ages to get served even with very little guests to serve. Continental was not kept stocked up even though we started before 10am.
Coffee dock outside was never staffed so didnt order any coffee there.

The location good . The veiws out onto the lake nice. And friendly staff . Patrica as always excellent service . 👏 food complements to the chef. The spicy noddles fabulous 👌 and steak cook to perfection. And Sammy cocktails made to perfection 👌

Pros:

What a gem! The entire staff is absolutely exceptional! The location is beautiful! The room was comfortable, clean & well taken care of. Would highly recommend the restaurant and bar! Seafood chowder is delicious! Definitely stay here if you have the chance!

Could use hair conditioner.

Really comfortable and pleasant experience. Felt very comfortable and at home.
Pros:

I really enjoyed my stay. Staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Room was great. Food was great. Great location by lake. I will definitely return to this hotel when visiting my Irish family in Cavan.

Was perfect for our one night stay.
Pros:

The location was excellent, just 10 minutes from Virginia and beside the lake. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Cons:

The breakfast was very basic although the cooked options excellent.

The staff are exceptional here: cheerful, friendly and so helpful. The view out on Lough Ramon at sunset is a beauty to behold! The hotel is in a gorgeous location with lots of potential.

Cons:

I used the buffet breakfast; I would have liked a greater variety of fruit in the fruit salad and brown bread for toasting! The toasters are rather slow! The car park has rather a lot of pot holes!

The room was beautiful

Cons:

Breakfast menu not great no orange juice when we asked staff she said it ran out,no butter on table asked staff for some after ten minutes had to asked again eventually I got some her manners were very poor
