青函連絡船を利用には立地的に便利
The main advantage of the hotel is its super convenient location. There are three bus stops within 2-min walk, the main train station is a 5-min walk, with several combini super close too. Another plus is the breakfast buffet, quite a nice spread with the usual Japanese morning fare, plus a few local specialties. The apple vinegar drink was so good!!
The room itself was frankly nothing to be impressed by. Clean as per the norm of Japanese standards, but it was so dated that it had an AM/FM radio built into the nightstand?!! Also, not sure why--perhaps there was a special event or something--but the one night I stayed there, the room rate was almost USD$300, so definitely not worth it, but I had no other choice at the time.
The hotel is a little old but kept well and very clean. It's also in great location with nice staff.
Paid parking is cheap if you're driving.
We stayed at the Sunroute for 2 nights whilst visiting Aomori. The location is good, being a short, easy 5 minute walk from the station. As Aomori is a relatively small town, the hotel is close to all the city centre shops and restaurants.
The hotel is a little dated, though it was cheap and comfortable. Our room was small as expected, though it was possible to get in both sides of our double bed, which is sometimes not always the case with Japanese business hotels.
We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel so can’t comment on that. We noticed there was a coin laundry available which could come in handy. WiFi in our room worked well. Overall it was a decent, yet no-frills, stay.
It was pleasant. Loved the place and the area. Very convenient location. Clean and friendly staff.
good
離車站近,安排各種旅程方便。
Sure the Japanese have great service but this place went over and delivered one of the best customer service I've experienced. They could understand English (which is surprisingly rare for hotels in Japan) and helped out so willingly. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
Friendly staff and very helpful
Location near train station and close to the museum, - A factory - fish market
This hotel is located very near to A-factory, Auga fish market and Nebuta Museum, only about 5 minutes walk. The hotel gives you interesting bath salt (inspired by onsen in all region in Japan) for your own use during the stay as this hotel does not have onsen. For those who are driving, it has a parking lot right outside. The breakfast is located on the top floor which gives you a really nice view of the ocean! They have decent scallop spread as Aomori is famous for its scallop. Also, do try their apple ice cream! Located near this hotel is an eatery called Osanai Shokudo which serves really good scallop meal!
Excellent hotel with traditional Japanese rooms, few minutes walk away from the Aomori train station - very convenient place to stay if you are visiting the region!
Located at the center of Aomori city, and mins of walk from many restaurants, AUGA (morning market), Lovina, A-Factory and JR station. The hotel feels a bit old and outdated, and the room itself a bit small; but it didn't really matter as we spent more of our time outside.
One of the big + is its breakfast located on the top floor (11th). A great view over the city and ASPAM. Also decent sections of food, especially the personal small scallop hotpot! Great way to start a day with.
JAPAN ROOM
My wife was here on April 29th for 3 days to see for the first time what cherry blossom was all about. The first stop was Hirosaki Park, then onto Ashino Park, and Goryokaku Park in Hakodate last, before heading down to Sakuragoaka-Cho in Shibuya, Tokyo.
Stayed here because we needed easy access to and from the Aomori Station, but with the best service and amenities possible, considering what’s available in town.
The hotel is only 2 blocks away from the train and bus stations, with several convenient stores nearby.
The look and feel of the hotel is exactly as what’s been described by most everyone here. So no surprises there. Room is neat and kept clean on daily basis. Breakfast is up on the 11th floor ocean view. Few selection of mostly local dishes, but surprisingly delicious.
What set this hotel apart though, is the service. Needed something, anything? They’d make sure to give it their best to help. We experienced that on several occasions.
One such occasion was when we had exhausted all efforts to get several bottles of Denshu, Aomori’s finest sake. Chased them around town, but came up empty handed. Every other stores carrying liquors we asked could only offer us their best wishes..
Finally, on the last day, we happened to mention this to the front desk. They immediately made a phone call, and sent us with a taxi to this sake shop hidden way out in a boondoggle. As soon as we arrived there, the owner had been waiting and greeted us with her huge smile. We got our few precious bottles, premium limited edition. Imagine that.... finally.
Thank you Sunroute... Sugureta sabisu, arigatogozaimashita..
