Due to the structure of the building, the Old Mill Hotel does not have a elevator. Wheelchair access is only available in the Rolling Mill restaurant. Parking is subject to availability and cannot be reserved. For advance purchase reservations, the credit card used for the reservation needs to be shown upon arrival. If this is not possible, a third party authorization form, copy of ID and copy of the credit card needs to be sent to the property prior to arrival. In the event of an early departure, the property will charge you the full amount for your stay.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Cons:

No soundproofing at all — you'll learn everything about your neighbours. The place looks like a motel straight out of an American movie. They also charge £10 for parking and pre-authorise £30 on your card in case you break something.

Great place and will return
Pros:

Felt like a quality place to stay, parking is only £10 at the location, the room was nice, comfortable bed and the room was clean, nice bathroom. The restaurant was very nice, had dinner there and the food was quality and the room had a really nice vibe, also there's a waterwheel just by the restaurant which was different. Better than most places we have stayed in. Also the price was good as you get breakfast included.

Nice room.

Cons:

Outdated bathroom. Very far from the city centre and the public transport is limited. We bought tickets for one bus not knowing that it is not eligible on other busses. One of the lines doesn’t get to the bus stop near to the hotel, and we had to walk for 20 minutes.
Very outdated and mouldy windows. The staff was not friendly and upset as we asked to prepare breakfast to take with us early morning and the girl at the reception the evening before acted like if she was doing me a huge favour. Excuse me, but I paid for two breakfasts.

It was OK, and for where it was decent value.

TBH I was miffed that people dining in restaurant could enter their reg'n and park for free, yet guests had to pay a tenner.
