Vicino a Forio ed alla fermata del bus con cui ci si muove per tutta l'isola con abbonamento settimanale molto economico. È vicino al parco termale Poseidon ed alla spiaggia attrezzata e libera di Citara...una chicca...si mangia bene...bravo cuoco e staff di Sala...
Suggerisco qualche transfert nella giornata verso le località vicine...sarebbe un bel servizio...
Great location - short bus ride in to town. The bus stops are seconds from the hotel entrance. We bought an all-day bus pass which cost 5 euros a day.
Hotel is very Italian, looks like not much had changed the 1960s/70s… but we loved the character and prefer personality to a faceless modern chain hotel.
Rooms were spotlessly clean, decent air con and comfy beds.
We thought the restaurant was good very quirky - 24 euros for a 5 course meal served in under an hour! Food was medium standard but glad we did it for the experience - loved the older matre de in his snazzy blue jacket.
Couldn’t do enough to help us with our 9 month old baby. They provided a ground floor room (iykyk) a cot in the room and were happy to microwave our sterilising bags for my son’s bottles any time of day. There’s no kettle but they provided boiling water at the bar.
Pool area was ok - you need to wear a swim hat in the pool so bring one. Sunbeds were comfy and lots of umbrellas. The water is warm which I loved but others have said it’s more difficult to cool off. Baby was welcome in both indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
Gardens around the property are stunning but attract bugs so being your deet/mosquito plug ins if visiting in the height of summer. But that is standard for the whole island I think.
This isn’t a top end hotel - it’s dated but in a quirky, homely way. We loved it and wish we could have stayed longer!
Oh - and the owners provide a pick up from the port so don’t pay for a taxi when you arrive! Otherwise you can get the bus from the port to the gates of the hotel.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and suited our needs. The thermal pool was fantastic. We were in a good position to explore the whole of the island by bus, the bus stops were close to the hotel. The staff at the hotel were all very pleasant and helpful, on the day we arrived we were given a map of the island and advised which were the best buses to get which was very helpful.
There was nothing we didn't like.
