the property has an excellent location to the civic center of LCV, and yet located on hill overlooking the ocean. the pool is clean and refreshing. We enjoyed Frank the owner, he worked so hard to accommodate all his guests.
the resort only offers a simple breakfast on the balcony. the restaurant appears to be closed, but that was fine, as we ate in town with friends nightly. Our room was clean, decorated in traditional french fashion, and the room's AC was a lifesaver as it was a hot week in the 90's
Everything was clean and worked properly.
Frank works so hard to make the property a pleasant experience. He did say he and his wife have owned the hotel for 35 yrs and ready to retire. We wished the good luck. They deserve the time in life to relax and enjoy life!
Thank you Frank & Laura!
Amazing place to stay.
That we only booked one night. We wanted to stay longer.
Des chambres des années 70.
Un hotel qui est resté dans son jus.
Pas de problème si le prix avait été de 100/120€ , mais à plus de 260€ au mois d'Avril , hors saison , c'est un scandale
The hotel needs updating and renovation and not value for money
Very welcoming host and an interesting location.
Beautifull location , quite , Lovely staff
I absolutely adored the property, it was even more beautiful in real life and felt like a glamorous fairy tale! It was so quiet and peaceful, our room was delightful, the owners were so lovely and funny, we honestly can't wait to book again for next year!
Really enjoyed staying in this hotel. It had a nice classic French style Chateau feel to it along with modern amenities such as comfortable beds, A/C and location.
Its hard to articulate how special and unique this experience was. Staying at Chateau Mei-Lese is like stepping back in time into the most charming beautiful hotel of days past. The views from the units are absolutely breathtaking and the grounds are stunning. The staff and proprietors are unbelievably nice and as a first time visitor to the area, they were all extremely helpful when we asked anything.
A few things to note:
1. This is an old chateau that is immaculately kept. The rooms are all beautifully furnished with antique style finishes. As I said before, it is like stepping back in time (in a wonderful way).
2. It is air conditioned
3. We did not use an elevator and we were on the 2nd floor and it was totally fine
4. Don't skip breakfast on the pool terrace. It is magically serene.
5. Highly advisable to rent a car when staying here. So much to see but we needed to drive to it.
This was a special experience and my family all loved it and would look forward to returning.
Charming hotel at great location and with an amazing view. Very helpful and service minded staff which made us feel very welcome.
Perfect place to stay for a romantic get away!
An absolute gem of a location, Frank and his lovely wife were very hospitable
Lovely pool , nice views,
Everything else was terrible, the male manager was so rude ,restaurant was closed even though they stated it was open on booking. Com site , shuttles were promised but they refused to shuttle us to the beach or restaurants , we would have to wait 20-30 mins for a taxi and coming back from restaurants no one would take us back, local patrons and staff would ferry us back the tv didn’t have many channels as promised . Ordinary expensive breakfast , Not allowed own food or drinks.40 euro corkage if you bring your own wine to have on your terrace. There were 6 guests in high season a place that could fit 50 so that says a lot. Overpriced . Don’t bother.
We had a most pleasant stay at the Château de Mel-Lésé which is more like a nice home than a "château", but that does not matter. The interior of the place is old-fashioned French, but the bed was excellent, with a good bathroom (despite showering in the bathtub). All in line with the modest prices. Wonderful friendly staff and the most amazing views.
We had the best experience possible: first, the hosts are absolutely lovely, and it would be a pleasure to come back just to see them. Second, the view is amazing - you wake up with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean sea. Last but not least, the food was delicious and the service impeccable. A full on, perfect experience.
The gardens and views are beautiful. This is a charming hotel with character. Very friendly hosts too. We had a short but very relaxing stay
