Terrible experience. I booked and paid in full via Expedia, but when I arrived, the hotel refused to honor the reservation, claiming they don’t accept pre-paid bookings from Expedia. The staff was rude and unhelpful. I was left without a room and had to find another hotel last minute. Not recommended at all.
Very cheap accommodation in a wonderful area. The rooms are very simple but in the area this hotel is a rara avis as the price is concerned. Essential facilities and services, but the English speaking staff are very kind and helpful. If you travel with a limited budget, this place can be a good solution.
Location is good, however Hotel is so poor.
I would like to say thanks for polite staff, they tried to make it better for our stay, but unfortunately the property is so poor and can’t be classified as Hotel at all.
Place is cheapest around but very run down no electricity or elevators working electricity shuts down at night so u can’t charge ur phone use fan t air conditioning not working there’s no pool place is convenient location but u need to to do lots off walking up stairs t no wifi working t staff very helpful for buses tours taxis transport but when u pay $45 aud it’s cheap compared to other places t convenience to Beirut and everywhere
no hot water no heat no toilet paper no wifi
BAD STAFF - REJECTED ME TO CHECK IN AND WANTED EXTRA MONEY TO GIVE ME THE ROOM - LEFT WITHOUT STAYING
sweet
the room is not equipped. the bathroom is very bad. the internet is very bad. the lift hardly can work. the coffee cups in the reception area are not disposable. No coffee machine all over the hotel. noisy area..
My stay was fairly pleasant, and somewhat comfortable, basically it was a bargain for the money...
OK, so the hotel is old, bleak, rundown, stark and probably not as clean as one would like, but it is superbly located and paid 40 dollars/nite for a two bed room. Stayed three nights, the staff is very friendly and let us check out “whenever you want”😂😂.
It was the worst experience ever I will never use hotel.com again
We stayed here 4 days. Although a budget hotel we thought it was great. It may be an old hotel but the service was great. Our room was clean, the shower and toilet were clean and we had plenty of hot water. Close to local eateries and the Corniche. Why pay a lot for accommodation when you can stay here for less. We are in our seventies and we thought it was a wonderful place to stay. It is not the Ritz, but a small cosy place. Will definitely stay again.
Everything was so great, starting from the great cooperative staff, via the hygiene to the area if hotel.
I do not believe that one can find any better hotel with such price in Beirut.
It is sooo recommended if your budget is not that high. With no second thought, I will come back in my next visit to Lebanon.
Just one thing I wish that hotel administeration deal with is that big sized pillows, they did not allow for a comfortable sleep. No more issues besides that minor one.
A good value for money hotel, the staff are friendly and the location is really practical.
I stayed there for 6 nights and it was easy to reach many places by walk.
You certainly get what you paid for, so highly recommended if you are low in budget.
One of the Oldest hotels in Beirut, which could be a hostel more than being a hotel, it's not that much clean, with so old furniture and Fallen infrastructure !!
Insects and Lizards are common to see inside the property, spiders will be your guest inside your room .
tinny unlighted street is the location of the Hotel, with an old building from the 70th of last century , and some kind of reception which you can call it ( first shock )
Blankets and covers as well as the toilet , need to be used carefully , otherwise you are infected !!
we reserved 2 nights in this hotel, but actually we couldn't stand for the second night, we escaped from this trap !!
Fair room condition. Noisy water faucet. Good working A/C
Good location within walking distance of Hamra and downtown
My parents had a nice stay at the hotel, the staff were very helpful and kind. They are very satisfied.
Very cheap but clean hotel. Ideally situated close to the Corniche and withing walking distance of many of the main attractions.
I was not able to stay 10 min in the room , checked out after 15
