Great location and lovely staff. Historic building in central location. Interesting decor.
Parking could be a bit tricky if you had a large vehicle.
Loved the interior design, a real nice mix of modern chic and heritage and sits really well with the historic aspect of the hotel. Receptionist was really friendly and gave me a little history lesson on the building whilst showing me to my room. I was travelling all over New Zealand and just wanted one night in Blenheim to have a Quick Look around the actual town, so the location was perfect, right tin the heart of the shopping area, (but not noisy), there is a really big Woolworths just round the corner and if you are feeling adventurous like me, you can hike up the big hills and back to the hotel in about 2 - 3 hours (although a lot of that is just walking through suburbia before you get there)
The room could get a little bit hot, but not unbearable
Loved the bedroom interiors and the bar.
The dining room needs to reflect the old world charm of the rest of the hotel.
Beautifulllybdone.
Right in the centre of town. We walked to a few wineries in town & restaurants. Very clean rooms. Nicely decorated
Excellent service on Arival. Escort to room and run through facilities. Super clean and comfortable. Location very central.
Fabulous location, the room was perfect and exceptionally clean.
Thank you to all the staff for a fantastic stay.
Nothing to add
Great location and well sorted room
Shower head could have been abit higher, my wife wouldn't have fitted under it
Great place to stay a few days, the bed was super comfy 😴 lovely staff very accommodating.
Had a fabulous meal in the restaurant, top chef's, wonderful restaurant manager and waitress staff.
Quirky rooms
Only 4 parking spaces
Quite an upmarket room for the reasonable price I paid.
Nicely renovated heritage building.
Bathroom has no extractor fan or opening window. Not sure that is legal but from a comfort perspective allows for no airflow or removal of bathroom odours in a small space.
Great position - walking distance to
Shops
Resturants
And rested fuelling
Really well situated in Blenheim, Hotel d’Urville could just be the nicest place, but considering the cost of staying there, I think it could do with a bit of updating. There is certainly a cool retro vibe which we liked, but considering it’s in one of the most beautiful parts of NZ it could offer a bit more. The staff were super and helpful.
Needs a bit of an update !
