Reasonable value for your money
Pros:

Location and the odd building. Further as breakfast was not included that they had suggestions for cafes and coffee right next door.

Cons:

A lot of seagulls outside the window screaming so that you woke up early in the morning.

Nice hotel, could do with a restaurant.
Pros:

Fantastic hotel rooms, decor and staff.

Cons:

The restaurant has closed down and the town itself is a bit of a ghost town, very few good quality places to eat in the town itself, although the nearby vineyards have lovely restaurants.

Disappointing!
Pros:

This hotel is under new ownership. The new owners did not make it known that the hotel bar/restaurant is under construction. When we arrived at the hotel, the reception desk was closed. We checked into our room via a lockbox code. There was a Western Union across the street. A group of unsavory people were milling around outside. We did not feel comfortable walking around that neighborhood at night. We met other guests in the hotel. Just like us, they booked this hotel because of the bar/restaurant. The next day, we learned that the owners deliberately did not disclose on various booking platforms that the bar and restaurant were closed. On the positive side, the room was clean and comfortable. I do want to give a shout out to the housekeeper. I’m so sorry that I cannot recall her name but she was a shining light in the experience. The new owners are lucky to have her on staff. She is a gem.

If in Blenheim stay here
Pros:

It’s a converted bank building so the rooms are quirky . Our room was l shaped . All individually decorated . Ours was very dark with dark furniture offset by a gold coloured chair . The staff were excellent . We had a meal there and it was very good

Cons:

When we were there the tiger cafe bar eas closed but that didn’t really affect our stay

Perfect for what we needed to stay the night, get a dinner down town and leave the next day.
Pros:

The port was a nice touch for guests and the room was tidy and comfortable

Cons:

Be good to see staff, we gather it was how you run the business. Cleaner was friendly.

It was so welcoming. The Staff is amazing. I loved it

Cons:

I loved everything. No elevator. But the staff were so good to carry our way too many bags.

Clean and tidy.
Pros:

The location was great and the rooms were clean and tidy.

Cons:

Really needs new pillows as they were as thin as a blanket. Brand new bar but they wont sell regular beer only craft.
We went else where because of this. Could use a bit of a freshen up. Door handles are coming off and new pillows and mattresses would help. Shame the restaurant wasn't open

Disappointing stay at a hotel that has seen better days and feels unloved
Pros:

Location right in middle of town was great and the onsite parking very helpful

Cons:

We did not get the room we booked and since there are no onsite staff to help, they did not rectify it when we queried it. The whole place felt tired and we had to enter past the closed down restaurant which was dusty and gloomy. Our room had a broken window and it appeared there was no attempt to fix it. While the room was spacious, it did not feel big as it was cluttered up with furniture (including an extra unwanted bed), and the bathroom was literally a cupboard with no room to turn around or put anything down.

Set in really nice old building.
Pros:

The rooms were quirky and the bed was comfy. Set in this lovely old building. The stars were extremely melodic and friendly. Property is close to most of the restaurants and bars.
