Wonderful Hotel. Accommodating to vegan and gluten-free diets.
Pros:

The location is excellent. The building is very nice. The breakfast is absolutely wonderful. They were very nice and accommodating to our group which included one who is gluten-free and two that are vegan. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Cons:

We rented two rooms and neither of them had a view. One literally looked at a wall, but we were only in our rooms to sleep as we were exploring the beautiful town.

e-Fahrzeugen war sogar für mehrere Fahrzeuge möglich. Hervorragendes Frühstück von sehr netten Personal serviert.

It was a fabulous stay inside the wall of a historic town.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent and far exceeded our expectations. The location was great, right in the heart of the City. Parking was provided very nearby with easy access. The staff was exceptionally friendly.

Cons:

There is no elevator, but we knew this prior to making our reservation. However the windy staircase is a bit hard to maneuver with luggage. But that's only a very minor inconvenience, and is to be expected in a building of this age.

We are an airline family from Texas, and the Hotel Sonne is a first-class destination.
Pros:

The location is EXCEPTIONAL! You can buy stuff at the Christmas market and walk it back to your room in minutes! The hotel staff is extremely friendly and polite, and they go above and beyond to make you comfortable. They treated us with a personal touch and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They serve a freshly made, complimentary breakfast that is fantastic! This was our second visit to Rothenburg and first overnight stay (we stayed two nights), and we can't wait to go back for a longer stay.

Cons:

There was nothing that we "didn't like". There are stairs and no elevator, but the online listing made that clear.
