Hotel Torcolo

The staff were all so kind! We needed a place that was more of a pit stop stay in between travels and to see Verona. The location is so perfect, the breakfast was great: croissants, salami, cheese, cakes, boiled eggs, even scrambled eggs to order and coffee/cafe/cappuccino to order, fruits, toast, yogurts etc.

The hotel is dated but you understand this when you book. I personally love and appreciate the dated feel, it adds to the ambiance and also you appreciate the price you’re able to stay so close to the main Verona Piazza.

Ear plugs help for the mid-night garbage dumps and thinner walls if you’re a lighter sleeper. We did get a room with a shower with a semi-see-thru glass to the room with minimal privacy, but there was an additional shower in the hallway for all hotel guests private use if needed. We were happy and enjoyed our stay! Grazie Millie!

The location couldn’t be better, but the flip side of that is the ambient noise, which goes on to 2am. Bed comfortable, good room size. Clean. Friendly service. Good continental breakfast with great cappuccino. Lift. Charmingly rustic and authentic.

The welcome from all the staff was first rate in gact all the staff were amazing. The location of the hotel is perfect to explore the city. Hotel is a little dated and needs a refresh but its in an old building. Breakfast was a little disappointing. That said I would stay there again

Lovely,lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Reception staff were so welcoming and helpful.The lady in the breakfast room remembered our coffee preferences without us having to ask.
Room was teeny tiny but was adequate for our short stay.Room didn't have aircon which meant window open to the noise of the street.
The location was absolutely perfect,so close to the Arena and all the sights we wanted to visit. Also the buses were in the Piazza Bra, too.

It was at a perfect spot where you can go around and browse the different stores and restaurants. Just feet away from one of the main shopping streets. Staff was absolutely delightful.

Great location for attending the summertime opera shows at Arena di Verona. Large rooms, clean and very nice and helpful staff.

There was so much i liked about this place. To begin, it's not an antiseptic modern hotel, thank goodness. Everything, from the furnishings, to exposed wood trim, to slightly askew stair runner, it oozed charm. It matched the surroundings of historic Verona. Great location, 15 minute walk to train station, 2 minutes to the piazza where there are buses, including to Garda. Laundry was done for a reasonable price. Breakfast had plenty of options, and was set in a magical room. Staff were great. Travelling solo, I was grateful for Katerina's efforts at chatting to this linguistically challenged Canadian.
