Pros:

Lovely staff, great location, good breakfast

Cons:

Noise from.the air conditioning unit. Maybe because we are not American but this was totally unnecessary in Edinburgh.
Noisy building contractors - early in the morning. This is beyond the control of the hotel but was not conducive to a good nights sleep

Great hotel with wonderful staff. BUT no elevator if you cannot climb stairs well

Restaurant food and breakfast were excellant

Excellent stay, with friendly and helpful staff
Pros:

Staff were great! Even lent us an umbrella when we were caught out.

Cocktails were lovely

Cons:

It was quite warm for Scotland so the room was a little stuffy when we arrived, but they had provided a fan for us to use.

Pros:

Dette er nogle værelse som ligger i forbindelse med restauranten. Dvs der er ingen reception eller bemanding om natten, og indtjekningen foregår bagerst i restauranten. Dette er dog intet problem, og indtjekningen gik hurtigt. Man kan derfor spise aftensmad på stedet, og morgenmaden foregår også i restauranten.

Cons:

Alt var som det skulle være, og personalet bestod af unge mennesker.

Really lovely staff. Very friendly. Nice choice for breakfast. The iron, straigtners & hairdryer in the room is an added bonus. The room also had a fridge.

Cons:

Temptation of eating/drinking the fancy goods in the romm, but these are not free. If you didnt think to read all the cards in the room you could end up with a hefty bill at the end of your stay without knowing it.

Ottima permanenza, con unica nota un po’ stonata il costo, un po’ alto per i servizi offerti.
Pros:

La posizione, centralissima e vicina a tutto, la qualità della colazione (à là carte), la stanza, la gentilezza del personale a colazione, l’ambiente.

Cons:

la vista dalla camera, su un vicolo molto rumoroso (svuotatura cassonetti immondizia e raccolta vetri), il fatto di dover passare dal ristorante per salire in camera, con nessun apparente controllo di chi possa accedere ai piani superiori. Prezzo a mio avviso eccessivo (260.- chf a notte con colazione semplice, anche se ottima), per una persona. Non ci sono le scale per accedere ai piani e la pulizia del pavimento era approssimativa.
