Ideal hotel for an excellent dining experience.
Pros:

Large clean rooms with great views just a few minutes walk from the town centre. It is worth staying in this hotel for the food, there is a top class chef producing a great menu based on local produce with excellent local wines, and a very knowledgeable waitress. Very highly recommended to eat there.

Good location. Corner suite amazing views balcony very big

Cons:

Despite requesting a twin room and checking afterwarrds it was a double but were upgraded to a suite with sofa bed and it was fabulous.

Pros:

De ligging, op loopafstand van het centrum en dicht bij de Soca rivier. Goed ontbijt.

Cons:

De zwemvijver is klein en koud. Mooi op de foto’s maar eigenlijk alleen geschikt voor pootje baden.

Mit Abstand das schlechteste Hotel während der Slowenien Rundreise

Gute Lage mit kleinem Pool im Garten

Cons:

Es gibt deutlich zu wenig Liegen am Pool. Die Zimmer und das Badezimmer sind altmodisch und in die Jahre gekommen. Das W-LAN verdient die Bezeichnung nicht und ist wirklich unterirdisch…Gerade auch unglücklich, weil der Empfang je nach Anbieter mit dem Handy schwach ist.

Zusätzlich riechen die Handtücher unerträglich und zum Schluss haben wir uns mit unseren eigenen Handtüchern abgetrocknet. Wir haben sogar schon Ersatz erhalten, aber auch diese rochen nach Muff…

Clean but dated hotel, with poor breakfast. Receptionist wonderful!
Pros:

The receptionist was absolutely lovely - welcoming, helpful, good English, always smiling.
There were great views but spoilt somewhat by the busy main road it’s positioned on. Great large balcony but noisy if you’re on the road side of the hotel. Patio doors into the room did drown out most the sound once inside.
Hotel was clean.
Liked bathroom basket of ‘extras’.
Liked idea of chocolate treats given if you didn’t get room cleaned.

Cons:

It felt like we’d stepped back into 1980’s, all quite dated.
Beds were very small, especially the 3rd bed for our teenage son whose feet hung over the bottom.
The outdoor ‘pool’ looked idyllic but we didn’t get to use it as only about 6 chairs there.
The breakfast wasn’t enjoyable for us (everyone different). The hot option was sliced chorizo with courgettes in lots of oil. Coffee was out of a sachet. No toaster. Was cold meats and bread buns if you like that, with 2 types of cereal. This was served in the basement with what sounded like elevator music playing in background.
A further note, restaurants in Bovec were limited and we didn’t find a single good one. Not all open 7 nights a week, limited seating (rained 2 nights, in August, which limited seating even more), we really struggled getting in anywhere so would recommend booking in advance, or eating in hotel (also needed booking in advance) but menu didn’t appeal to us.
