Estar fuera del mogollón de Florencia fue todo un acierto. El servicio shuttle que te lleva cerca de Florencia permite dejar el coche quieto en garaje gratuito. Desayuno un poco escaso pero muy rico. El personal fantástico, las cenas espectaculares. De hecho me gustó tanto la primera cena en el hotel que repetí las otras tres noches de mi estancia. El cordero un 10, las chitarrine con alcachofa y yema de huevo un poema. Los/las camareros/as maravillosos/as.
Creo que no me dieron la habitación que había reservado (y pagado), era más pequeña de lo esperado. Aun así me pareció bien bonita. El tema de las camas dobles es un poco irritante, no solo en este hotel, es así en muchos, pues en vez de un colchón grande hay dos estrechos juntos, es decir, se está cada dos por tres en la rendija entre los dos. Al estar junto al río hay una cantidad considerable de mosquitos. Menos mal que siempre llevo spray antibichos. La casa ofrece aparatos de esos.
The staff were great at reception. Really accommodating. We arrived at 11pm and they got us a drink even though the bar had just closed.
The hotel is like walking into your aunt's home - lots of ornaments. It feels lived in which is fine for some people, its just not our taste. There was no water in the swimming pool due to the time of year, albeit we were in 25 degree heat, which I wasn't informed off. We didn't use the spa. Breakfasts could have been better for the amount of money we were paying and we had to ask for coffee. Bedroom air conditioning wasn't on as we were out of season but the reception then gave us a fan and a mosquito repellent plug for the room. The bath was mouldy and there were marble steps up to bathroom which were lethal if wet.
The shuttle bus did not take us far enough into the city centre - it was still a 20 minute walk to get to the centre.

I can not recommend this place highly enough. The hotel itself is stunning. It is set in a beautiful location just outside of Florence with stunning grounds and fantastic facilities. There is a brilliant restaurant and bar on sight as well as a spa which you can have exclusive use of for one hour per day. There is a pool outside with the more beautiful views. The staff are what really make this place special though. The staff really could not do enough to help you. From wine recommendations to organising our transfer back to Pisa airport they really did go above and beyond. I can not thank them enough. The small details the hotel added to our stay was so lovely. For Easter we were gifted a lovely bag of chocolate eggs and they noticed we were having wine in the room in the evening so kindly left up two wine glasses. So thoughtful.
The rooms were fantastic. There is a good amount of space in the room with a wardrobe with a safe which was free to use, a desk and a large comfortable bag. The bathroom was large with a lovely shower and good amenities. The view from the room was spectacular and so lovely to wake up to each morning. The hotel is slightly out of the centre but the hotel did run a shuttle bus which went to just outside the centre for 1 Euro 50 cents. Such great value. Taxi's are ok to grab in the centre and the hotel called them for us in the morning. The cost was about 30 Euro to get in. Uber does not work so this is something to bare in mind. There are local apps for Taxi's but not that easy to use. It was easy to use the taxi ranks in the city though.
The facilities of the hotel and the incredible staff made this hotel a really hidden gem. I will defiantly be returning and I would highly recommend to anyone for a relaxing stay in Florence.
Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, alles stimmt, Personal, Kaffee, Gebäck alles top. Der Frühstücksraum sehr schön und geräumig. Das Hotel hat eigene Garage. Größe des Zimmers war sehr gut.
Wir hatten Zimmer direkt an der Seite zum Fluss, daher etwas laut. Es gibt zwar einen Shuttle Bus aber gegen Gebühr 3.50 € pro Fahrt. Trinkgeld 10% war auf der Rechnung drauf, wurde lediglich drauf hingewiesen.

Beautiful hotel and room (I had #204 “a river-view room” and possibly the best one) located in what became my favorite area of Florence. Slightly out of the way but worth it. The river is amazing - the water contacts one of the hotel walls. Friendly and professional staff. Easily the best place I stayed in during my Italy trip. I could come back just to spend a week in the room.
Abbiamo scelto questo hotel a Firenze leggermente fuori dal centro e si è rivelata una decisione perfetta. La posizione è davvero ideale: lontano dal caos turistico ma collegato benissimo grazie a una splendida passeggiata lungo l’Arno che permette di raggiungere il centro storico in modo rilassante e suggestivo. Camminare ogni giorno con questa vista è stato uno dei momenti più belli del soggiorno.
L’hotel, adiacente all’Arno, è curato benissimo nei minimi dettagli e riesce a mantenere tutto il fascino dell’antico mulino da cui nasce la struttura. Si percepisce una grande attenzione nel preservare l’atmosfera storica, unita però a comfort moderni che rendono il soggiorno davvero piacevole.
Le camere sono spaziose, silenziose e arredate con gusto, perfette per riposarsi dopo una giornata a visitare la città. Il personale è sempre gentilissimo, disponibile e attento a ogni esigenza, facendoci sentire davvero i benvenuti. 😊
Colazione ottima e varia, con prodotti freschi e di qualità, perfetta per iniziare la giornata con energia.
Se cercate un posto tranquillo dove soggiornare a Firenze, ma con la possibilità di raggiungere il centro con una bellissima passeggiata panoramica lungo il fiume, questo hotel è davvero una scelta eccellente. Ci torneremmo senza alcun dubbio!
