The staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved the overall all esthetic and design of the hotel. Breakfast was quite good and nice variety.
Bathroom was a bit difficult to negotiate. Large tub to climb in and out of to shower. Mold along the walls and tile. Difficult to open the door and get into the bathroom with the position of the sink. Needs a bit of updating. The river view was a bit limited.
I cant recommend this hotel enough, the hotel and grounds are beautiful, the staff are all amazing and so accommodating , friendly, and helpful . The house keeping ladies are lovely and do a wonderful job cleaning and tidying the rooms everyday . The food is amazing and the view from the dining/breakfast area is beautiful . Our room 209 was lovely and spacious, it’s a very peaceful hotel and never feels too busy even round the pool is quite and very clean and there is always a sunbed with clean towels . The shuttle is great for getting to Florence and if you want to stay out later you can easily get a taxi back , just ask the reception staff and they will advise . Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will be back !

Couldn't enjoy completely the spa
This hotel is one of the best I've stayed in for several reasons.. the setting by river Arno is beautiful, the hotel is immaculate & full of character, the spa is so relaxing, the breakfast is delicious ( both continental & cooked ) & we had lunch and dinner here. The food is top quality ( please try the tagliatelle pork ragu )There is a daily a shuttle bus to and from Florence at convenient times BUT above all else the STAFF are fantastic, so attentive, kind and hospitable. They were the absolute making of this hotel. I can't praise them enough. We had a wonderful family stay here. Next time I visit Florence, this is where I'll be staying & recommending to friends & family.

Uns hat einfach alles gefallen. Die Lage, die Zimmer, das tolle und herzliche Personal, das wundervolle Frühstück …alles war perfekt. Auch der Pool und der Service waren toll. Zudem ein Shuttle Service der einen un die Stadt fährt
Beim Shuttle Service könnte man evtl noch ein Stück weiter rein fahren und beim Abholen evtl schon eine Zeit eher.

Abseits vom Trubel, aber dennoch gut angebunden. Perfekt um es als Ausgangspunkt für Florenz und zur Erkundung der Toskana zu nutzen.
Das Frühstück war sehr eintönig und besondere Eierspeisen haben zwischen 5 und 10 Euro Aufpreis gekostet.
Beautiful converted mill on the river. Our room overlooking the river was spacious, and the pool area was excellent. Handy shuttle service for going into Florence, perfect location outside of the busy city centre

Everything about the hotel was perfect for us as a family. We used the shuttle bus when timings suited and taxis to get us to specific locations at others. It was so nice to be in a building with some history that had been adapted to suit today’s travellers.
We were very happy with all aspects of the hotel.
