I liked that the location was close to everything we needed and conveniently located near the parkway, which made it easy to get around town.

We’ve been traveling around the country for 3 months and this recently renovated hotel is one of the best we’ve stayed in. It checks all the boxes! Large clean quiet room. LOVED the wood floor — so much more sanitary than carpet. Super comfortable bed with great pillows and plush linens. Loved the extra-large walk-in shower which had good pressure, plenty of hot water, a free-flowing drain, a handy grab bar and dispensers for body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Lots of space around the sink to set toiletries. The bathroom had towel racks (so many hotels have removed them for some strange reason!) and the nightlight was a nice touch. Large desk with chair plus an extra chair for the second person to sit. Convenient bench to set luggage. Plenty of electrical outlets to charge devices. Easy parking. The automatic doors at the hotel entrance were very convenient for carrying luggage. Reasonable price compared with other area lodging. Wonderful staff – Jordan, Stephanie and Ashley were all terrific.

Our stay at Comfort Inn & Suites Concord/Kannapolis was one of the worst hotel experiences my family has ever had.

We traveled all the way from Virginia Beach expecting a clean, comfortable place to stay, but instead we were met with disappointment from the moment we arrived.

The breakfast was terrible, the staff was unhelpful throughout our stay, and the bathrooms were filthy, as if they hadn’t been cleaned at all. To make matters even worse, I found bed bugs on the bed. This was completely unacceptable and made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe.

When we reported the bed bugs to management, they did absolutely nothing to make the situation right. We were not compensated, offered another room, or helped find another place to stay. It felt like we paid good money just to be inconvenienced.

The experience got even worse at checkout. The front desk employee working the 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. shift charged my mother’s card over $600 in unauthorized charges. When Capital One alerted her about the transactions, the employee denied making the charges and then claimed she had already adjusted them. We found this dishonest and extremely unprofessional.

Between the unsanitary conditions, bed bugs, poor customer service, lack of accountability from management, and the billing issues, this stay was a complete nightmare.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and wasted money by staying somewhere else.

It was conveniently close to where we needed to be and there were plenty of restaurants and stores around for any urgent needs.
