Relaxing stay with very good food
Pros:

Filter coffee through the day is a brilliant touch. The cooked breakfast options were very good, but the baked goods needed to be much better. The staff are very helpful & efficient.

Cons:

A few brighter lighting options in the room would have been nice.

The staff were very helpful and made us feel like home. Our experience was comfortable and enjoyable

The ambience and the old heritage look

Cons:

The heat was too much. Need to do something in the lobby and breakfast counter as it is too very hot. There is no place to just sit and relax.
Also the coffee and tea in the room needs some more attention. One of the rooms did not have the coffee maker another did not have coffee powder.

Felt like summer vacation at grandma’s home. Loved having meals in the open courtyard.
Pros:

Breakfast was thought of really well. The menu was compact but included a healthy spread. Millet ruled our 2 days stay.

Cons:

It was my first time and I liked everything about the place.

Great location, history, food was amazing! And wonderful experience.
Pros:

Fab ambience, amazing story and heritage. Really comfy accomodation, bathroom was great, private and quiet yet in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Really well done renovation.

Strong recommend for guests visiting Pondy
Pros:

Traditional chettiar style living by travel back in timeline was awesome.Location close to ashram,kovils and Beach is perfect.Breakfast is so healthy and so much care has been put in to the menu selection.Love this palce

Pros:

Le style colonial, la qualité du restaurant, la gentillesse du personnel. Le fait qu’on ne soit pas toujours obligé de mettre la clim à cause du ventilateur plafond que je trouve mieux, mais qui est absent de la plupart des hôtels contemporains.

Belle adresse authentique dans Pondi
Pros:

Petit hôtel 10 chambres dans un vieux palais tamoul rénové . Les chambres sont spacieuses et la salle de bain très agréable . Grand confort, le personnel est charmant. Dîner et petit déjeuner très bons . Très calme même si c’est dans la partie tamoule . On peut profiter de la piscine du Palais de Mahé . Faites le tour en vélo rickshaw c’est vraiment sympa .

Tout était parfait . Un peu exentré mais facile de marcher dans la ville blanche et tuk tuk dispo
