I hotel is old and not taken care off.
I changed 3 rooms in my stay because the first one had a mold smell, the second one had a broken ac and was blowing cold air constantly.
I stayed at this hotel during a recent business trip and had a very positive experience. The management team was highly professional and well-organized, which made the entire stay smooth and efficient. The staff were extremely helpful, attentive, and always ready to assist with any requests.
From check-in to check-out, everything was handled in a welcoming and friendly manner. The atmosphere was comfortable and ideal for a business stay, allowing me to focus on work while also feeling relaxed.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for business. The professional management and genuinely welcoming staff make it a great choice, and I would be happy to stay here again in the future.
Nothing
No parking. The hotel should have done a better job of snow removal. Customer service was suspect…no concern for the customers. No eye contact and greeting. Breakfast should have been included with the stay. Food was limited and too expensive. Will never stay at this hotel.
The bed was very very very comfortable, slept like a log. Comfortable ac temperature. House keeping was great. Front desk attendant when I arrived was gracious. Restaurant attendant very helpful with info of store near by.oh yeah shower pressure great!
NO microwave in the room, how can I worm up my food? That’s a deal breaker. Got to have a microwave in the room. No vent in the bathroom? Wow. No soap in the dispenser. I brought my own just in case. With those exceptions the room was good.

Here is our context: Diamond members (7 years) who have travelled the world staying in a range of Hilton brands. Since staying at Doubletree Sterling-Dulles in late October, we have stayed in a number of USA Hiltons, so are able to compare. Here are our views on Double-Tree by Hilton Sterling-Dulles.
Staff
Reception is understaffed but the staff who are there are hard workers and were friendly and helpful. Bar and dining staff friendly and willing.
Bed
Spotlessly clean and comfortable.
Room
Clean . Good size (King bed) Dated furniture and fittings. Everything worked. No traffic noise.
Internal decor and public area furniture
Shabby and most certainly in need of renovation.
Breakfast
Typical USA food. Not the quality and choice of overseas Double Trees, but same as offering in other USA Double-Trees.
Executive lounge
We found the range of food and drink very limited and the ambience was not conducive to staying longer than it took to eat a very small plate of food.
Diamond Upgrade
We asked but not available. (This been the case in all the HiIltons we have stayed in during 3 weeks of being in USA).
Shuttle bus
Very useful, drivers helpful and friendly.
Overall
Did the job of proving a clean and comfortable bed for a couple of nights whilst we adjusted to USA time. (We flew in on an 11 hour flight.) The hotel would certainly benefit from an investment in refurbishment. The staff were friendly and helpful even when being overworked.
Top tip
Useful if you arrive at Dulles airport without a SIM card: near the exits from the airport to the area where you pick up the shuttle (after you go down the slope and before you exit the building) there are public phones from where you can make short local calls for free. We used this facility to call the hotel to ask for the shuttle.
Location close to airport
Best night’s sleep in a hotel in a long while. Pillows and bed were extremely comfortable. We were near the elevator but we never heard anything. Breakfast was very good with nice selections and all tasted very good. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommended.
