It was a good location and ok for a one night stay. The room looked a bit tired.
Nice bar area where meals were being served.
As a veggie I usually struggle to find something to eat. Sunday evening there was only curry available which I can't always eat. The only other option was fish and chips delivered to the room. Without having to search for somewhere else I managed on a couple of starters from curry menu. Disappointed in food available that evening, though the menu for the rest of the week had better options.
This is a regular stay for me location good, nice breakfast. Good parking. I have never used the bar or restaurant.

Everything about the place yo the rooms cosy and comfortable. Mattress was really comfy. Staff very polite and helpful . Food in the restaurant was good as was the included breakfast . Would highly recommend

Weinig parkeer gelegenheid in het weekend, maar na zoeken was er wel een plaatsje te vinden. Eetzaal een beetje sober.

Beds weren’t too comfortable but not the end of the world
Large and comfortable room with a decent view, looking out onto the garden and High St. The bathroom was a little cramped but very clean, and the shower itself plenty big enough. Plenty of choice at the buffet breakfast which was more efficiently laid on than many equivalent offerings. The bar at the hotel was well stocked and appears to do a good trade, I appreciated the option of being able to get a drink and a snack relatively late in the evening.
My only real criticism would be that the room could've used a better chair, a small arm chair maybe, to sit and read by in the evening. I met a friend of mine in the restaurant for an evening meal, which I thought was adequate and there was nothing really wrong with it; but disappointingly ordinary food for the price. Service however was good, no complaints about breakfast.
The room was big and airy, as was the ensuite. The bed was super comfy.
