Better options available for a few more dollars
Pros:

Stayed here is part of our Tour book by Scoopon travel. We were not aware we were staying in three star hotels had we known we have stayed here. The towels were threadbare. The rooms were old and dated. The showers were covered in black mold however, with any complaints, you’ll find the manager asleep on oneof the couches in the lobby.

Good location and spacious room
Pros:

The hotel is in a good location in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. The room was a little dated but very spacious.

The staff was friendly. For around $25 or $30 US, they scheduled a 2-hour rickshaw tour for me, which was a great way to see the highlights of the city.

Great hotel in a perfect location with very helpful staff.
Pros:

Great hotel, stayed here at the start of a tour and had booked an extra night pre-tour. Perfect location and the staff were so helpful. Breakfast was good and the rooms great.

Excellent place to stay in Old Quarter area!
Pros:

Our stay for one night was excellent! The room was spacious enough and clean. The bathroom was equally clean with a bathtub which is very rare. The breakfast had a variety of items and the food was tasty. The staff at the restaurant, front desk and the bellboy all were very friendly and courteous. The location is very close to the lake, restaurants and shopping.
If you like to be around the hustle and bustle of the old quarter, I would recommend this place.
I have also booked the room for two nights for the following weekend, just after check out.

Cons:

Wanted a queen size bed but was not available.
