Great location and value with a friendly staff
Pros:

This was a nice little hotel slightly off the beaten path with a very helpful, friendly staff, and compact, clean rooms. I will definitely stay here again next time I travel through the Slidell area.

Cons:

The rooms are a little smaller, but there was plenty of space and that's kind of the theme, since it's called Microtel.

Bon matelas personnel du déjeuner très gentille bon déjeuner

Cons:

En arrivant j’ai demandé au gars à laréception si on pouvait avoir de l’eau. Il nous a donné 2 bouteilles d’eau tiède et nous a chargé 1$ chacun sur ma carte de crédit. C’est la 1ere fois que ça m’arrive. Il aurait dû nous avertir avant de charger.

Great stay on our way to Texas
Pros:

It was clean, with wooden floors, it seems like rooms were renovated partially. Great value for the price. Friendly staff and it was safe.

Safe/clean enough while in a pinch but probably wouldn’t be my first choice to stay
Pros:

Guy at the front desk was very friendly. They gave us a late check out at 1pm instead of 11am which was great because we didn’t arrive until almost midnight.

Cons:

The cleanliness of the rooms is a bit questionable (old blood stain on the comforter, couch a little gross looking, hallway carpets needing a vacuum). No bed bug concerns but just one of those places that you felt like you had to check a few times to be safe

Served our needs for the night.
Pros:

The staff that checked us in and the woman who was in charge of the breakfast were absolutely wonderful! They were friendly, helpful, kind and genuinely nice people!

Cons:

The mattress was a bit soft and sunk in in the middle.
