Il panorama e la vista dalla camera. Servizio in piscina top (con sauna e bar vicino).

Cons:

La TV non prendeva i canali del digitale terrestre. Non chiara la pre-autorizzazione al prelievo di 50 euro su carta di credito al check-in. Poi convertita nelle reali spese extra.

Pros:

Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und können die Unterkunft definitiv weiterempfehlen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das unglaublich nette, aufmerksame und zuvorkommende Personal – wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr willkommen gefühlt.

Die Lage ist wirklich etwas Besonderes und der Ausblick von unserem Zimmer war einfach atemberaubend! Man sollte sich allerdings bewusst sein, dass die Unterkunft tatsächlich ganz oben auf dem Berg liegt. Das war für uns aber überhaupt kein Problem, da die Verbindung hinunter nach Como sehr gut funktioniert. Innerhalb von etwa 25 Minuten ist man unkompliziert und ohne großen Stress direkt an der Promenade.

Für uns war es eine tolle Kombination aus traumhafter Aussicht, ruhiger Lage und guter Erreichbarkeit von Como. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Cons:

Wie gesagt liegt die Unterkunft auf der Spitze eines Berges, was die Autofahrt zu einem Abenteuer macht :D

Eigentlich nur die Aussicht

Cons:

Wo soll ich anfangen? Die Anfahrt ist schon ein echtes Erlebnis. Die Straßen so eng, dass keine zwei Fahrzeuge aneinander vorbeikommen, teilweise steil und sehr verwinkelt. Aber dass würde mich ja gar nicht stören. Nur für diejenigen, die wie wir mit dem Auto anreisen wollen.
Die gesamte Anlage ist schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und ist nicht in wirklich gutem Zustand. Das Zimmer, angeblich eine Junior Suite, sehr klein. Die Einrichtung wirkt wie aus einem Baumarkt zusammengestellt. Bad und Dusche winzig. Spiegel an den Rändern abgeplatzt. Der versprochene Balkon ist vorhanden, allerdings ebenfalls winzig und ohne jegliche Sitzgelegenheit.
Das Frühstück sieht erst einmal recht vielseitig aus, doch lässt die Qualität sehr zu wünschen übrig: das meiste besteht aus trockenem und teilweise altem Toastbrot.
Kurz und gut für den Preis eine echte Enttäuschung!

Impressive view from an ordinary hotel
Pros:

Obviously the unique experience of being up at the highest point is what this hotel is about but the premises itself is not exceptional for the price
The staff are very pleasant trying to make this hotel appear classier than it is

Cons:

The room was small and the bathroom tiny with a shower cubicle very awkward to use
Our room 111 was so dark I cud not enter without putting the lights on
The funicular is a nightmare. Long wait to be squashed in and a nightmare once at the top
Yes the hotel offer a lift from the funicular if you can possibly get in touch with them
The cost of using the funicular €7 euros per person should be considered as you have no option other than to use it
The food offered is very limited and again nothing special
There’s a cover charge every time u sit in the restaurant regardless of wat you eat at €6-8 this soon adds up
In the room everything is charged extra - not even a complimentary bottle of water
Be careful to check bill on check out we had costs added to ours probably because people just quote a room number when ordering so mistakes can be made
The ‘spa’ area is tiny with 6 beds
