Dirty, tired, unstayable
Pros:

We got into the room, which was 204. I couldn’t believe how shabby, dirty and utterly grim the whole place was. We had been put up here through the kindness of a business colleague. Unfortunately, we could not bear to stay there an hour longer, so we found a beautiful Airbnb nearby.

I realise this place isn’t expensive, but the basic attention to detail was lacking. For example, the air-conditioning/heating wasn’t working, the TV’s aerial cable was hanging off the wall, and the handset on the telephone was dirty. All of this led us to think we had to get the hell out of there.

Nice experience
Pros:

Nice little hotel in centre of Alkamarr. Room 202 was big, clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast next morning was worth the extra. Staff v nice, especially a Dutch blonde girl working there, (sorry didn't get name).

We'd return if back in the area. Thank you.

Bad smell, not clean, disappointing.
Pros:

The hotel was located excellently and the staff was very kind and professional.
We booked the junior suite specifially for the bath tub in the room and we were very disappointed. When we first entered the room we immediately noticed a very bad smell coming from the tub that reminded us of sewers and old pipes. The staff seemed to already know about this because there was a reasonably big air freshener placed in the room but that was not helping. Apart from the smell, there were red stains and hair inside the tub, the sinks had residues of old soap and tooth paste and the promised bath robes and slippers were missing.
After complaning about the room, the staff reacted kind and offered us a change of rooms to a suite which we accepted. The suite had no bad smell but also no bath tub, instead it had a sauna which we did not use because we just don't like saunas.
Breakfast was neither good nor bad. Nothing special but not worth the price if it wasn't included in the price of the room itself.
In total the stay was a disappointment for us, we paid nearly double the price of a normal room.

aardig personeel en locatie

Cons:

kamer rook naar riool, ontbijt was karig, om 9 uur was bijna alles op. Televisie kon niet gebruikt worden, geluid deed het niet goed, programmakeuze ook niet.
