We stayed for two nights with my family.
The location was great — just a 5-minute walk to the amusement park, and there’s a Chick-fil-A right across the street. You can rent umbrellas and chairs on the beach for $40 a day, which was convenient. The building is old but looked fairly clean.
However, many things were disappointing.
The pool was not heated, and the water was too cold to swim. There was no hot tub, even though the website mentioned one.
The fitness room and business center were used as storage rooms, so they were not available for guests at all.
The hotel’s website really needs to be updated — most of the listed amenities are no longer available. I didn’t find any of the things I expected based on the website.
I planned to pack light and do laundry there, but the staff said the laundry room was closed permanently. During busy hours, parking gets full and guests have to park on the street.
The balcony door lock was broken, and even though I asked for repair, no one ever came.
There’s also no housekeeping service, and when I went to the front desk for clean towels, I was told to bring the used ones — apparently, towel exchange is self-service.
The location is nice, but the facilities, maintenance, and accuracy of the hotel’s website need serious improvement.
Our room was great
No Tv in my first room.
Nice clean room , quiet, on the seawall to well and look at ocean, restaurants close by, pier rides and entertainment for kids, 5 min from port
Floors in the entrance area where a little dirty due to indoor pool being right there next to elevators so a strong bleach/chlorine smell and wet footprints in hallway and elevators. A little noises as it’s near bars but the room was decent. Beds were comfy. Linen was soft and clean. It was cheap at 84 dollars. Employees were nice. It’s decently located to bars. Good for a guy on his own but don’t take a girl there.
There were no towel racks in our room.
.
I’ll start with the AMAZING customer service experience I had with the young lady at the desk (I can’t recall her name but she has the most beautiful long gray hair. Not only did she greet me with a smile she made me feel very welcomed.
Now my roommate didn’t have that same experience but I’m only speaking on my personal experience.
Now for the room itself. I loved the touchscreen mirror but with an amenity like that, I would think the room would be just as cool. But it wasn’t. The room I was in needs some serious tlc. The window has a torn screen, the furniture was a bit tattered, bed wasn’t that comfortable to my liking and there was a mild odor I couldn’t make out what it was. Maybe that was something in the air with the hotel being so close to the beach. Overall it was okay for the one stay I had. I personally wouldn’t stay any longer than that.
Will book again . Hotel is a little outdated
Hotel room was absolutely stunning with a great view of the pier. Everything was clean and staff was nice. Was close to multiple restaurants and attractions. Indoor pool was very clean and warm.
Everything was perfect
Never again booking anywhere else we Loved our stay comfortable and quiet, and the night view was also amazing , Great service nice and quick and on our way out we had great service from a super sweet girl and she let us know about discounts if we signed up for comfort in rewards
Everything was great
🤔
Close to the sea wall. Good location.
Good!
I got bit but bed bugs and I tried to let them know u was leaving and not going to be spending the other night I paid for...they wouldn't refund me for the night I didn't stay
Close to everything i needed
Everything went great except for their shuttle service to port in the morning. Never showed up and wouldnt refund our shuttle payment. Said itvwas an putside provider. We would stay again, just making other transportation arrangements.
Checked out at midnight because of roaches and I'm not talking about cockroaches. Those little brown roaches from uncleanliness and no extermination.
