Citadines Karasuma-Gojo Kyoto

All was good with the hotel. Location wasn't perfect but not bad! :)

Booked my reservations 10 months out and 1 months before the trip my reservations were canceled and re-booked to another hotel and we had to pay for an upgrade to the original room we had booked.

The property was excellent reception staff helpful .Hotel was in walking distance of quiet a few attractions and restaurants. Over all ideal hotel very clean and well equipped small kitchen area and a launderette in the basement .just waiting in hotel now to go to the airport for ourreturn flights ,would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good location but Hotel on busy street. We were on a lower floor so heard a bit of traffic noise. Amenities were average and even though we didn't have the breakfast the dining area looked very average.

Terrific staff. Clean. I just wish there was a gym like the Citadines in Tokyo.

Air conditioning made us sick unlike other hotels

Walkable to most shopping areas and the staff is extremely helpful! Laundry services were convenient and easy to use

Amazing place. Lovely area to walk and shop.

Absolutely gorgeous place. Easy to access Train and bus stations. Laundry was a little bit of a problem. I'd recommend the hotel to provide Laundry service in the future.
Nevertheless, everything else was excellent.

The key didn’t work then it turned out they issued the wrong room. Someone else was staying in the room. For all the trouble, you would like they would upgrade the room.

Hotel was in a good location and rooms were spacious. The only thing was that the comforter was a little thin and there were only 2 very flat pillows on the bed for 2 people. So sleeping wasn’t the most comfortable. However, overall the stay was good and staff were friendly and spoke great English.

Pros:
Front desk personnel was fluent in English & assistive during check-in. A small store nearby the hotel sells reasonably priced vegetables & watermelon. Location is walkable to restaurants.


Con:
The parking provided is not suitable for cars above 155cm. Paid parking lots nearby the hotel was informed by the front desk personnel with a printed map.

very good service, and very clean hotel

Good hotel for the price paid. Staff are nice and helpful. Subway is right outside of the hotel. Convenient location to food, shopping and attractions. Didn't try breakfast in the hotel because of the food. lack of ventilation in basement where breakfast and laundry at the same floor. Laundry machines were dated and didn't clean/dry properly.
