Arrived into a freezing NYC. The Nomo is located in a very interesting and eclectic area of Soho. (With China Town and it's multitude of restaurants, just down the road.)
Entry is a walk through an open (cold) pergola-ed walkway,.
I actually got be a bit confused, locating the reception for check-in. It is actually on the first floor.
I had a corner room on a higher level.....and the views were fantastic .
The room itself was fine. A bit small, but this being NYC, acceptable. Some 'wear and tear.' But no complaints. Sleep quality was good . The daily house-keeping was very efficient; my room seemed to be magically cleaned, every time I stepped out for a quick coffee.
However; I have one question; with hotels like this Nomo Soho, why have they taken away their in-room mini-fridges? I had to request to have someone bring a fridge up to my room (For medication storage)
All in all; a good stay...abet a bit pricey.
Shall be returning......
We had an amazing view of NY’s skyline because of our corner room. Staff were also quite nice and accommodating
Hallways were pretty dark but it’s not a big problem at all
Situated in SoHo, close to shops, transport and restaurants, the location was great. We were able to walk to places we wanted to see.
Rooms are a little run down. No pressure in our shower. Oversized furniture for our room.
Extremely average experience for the price. I tried reaching out to the hotel to confirm my stay since I booked through Hotels.com: they don't answer emails and are EXTREMELY rude on the phone. The whole front-desk team was extremely impolite and rude. All the time, impressive. The staff, on the other hand, were very kind, helped with luggage, and suggested I get their own car service to JFK, but this is staff—forget it if you need any help from the front desk. The front desk is rude, impatient, and always in a very bad mood. Horrible to see the contrast between staff that is doing a much more unpleasant job being great, polite, kind, and helpful, in contrast to people sitting behind the front desk being jerks. Oh, and by the way: every single night is a nightmare around the hallway—people filming TikToks, taking a billion pictures, cars stopping with loud music. Such a weird place and not good AT ALL. I'll never be back, horrible experience. The room is clean and spacious, but definitely NOT worth the stay. Go to Arlo, 11 Howard, The Frederick, Renaissance Chelsea, Public, Park Lane, anything really.
Very well located
Nothing
Brilliant location to shops restaurants, little Italy, Broadway, Chinatown. Great SoHo vibe and restaurant great
Todo!
The staff went above and beyond, from Jeffrey at check in to the housekeeping staff who kept our room neat and tidy until we checked out. Much appreciated!
My only complaint is the room was smaller than expected, we had a king suite for a family of 4. Usually this suits our needs, not this time. Probably should of got connecting rooms. It's not our first time in NYC we understand spaces are smaller, this wasn't experienced elsewhere.
Location, cleanliness, modern interior style room & friendly staff. Breakfast/restaurant terrific. Definitely stay here again & will definitely recommend to others. Just brilliant.
Rooms were small
War nur eine positive in diesen Hotel
Zimmer gut geputzt
The hotel was super cute and clean.
I did not like that. There was no security at the hotel. Meaning that somebody from the public can walk in get in the elevator and go up to one of the guest floors without having to badge in.
Vista e posizione top. Super pulito e spazioso. Personale super disponibile
Troppo costoso
