Well appointed comfortable hotel with excellent staff

The property has an excellent location to town and bikes if you don’t want to walk. It has beautiful decor and artwork in a very inviting space. The staff was all so kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice location, fire pit smores

Really nice finishes. Great room. Comfortable common areas. Staff is just awesome. They thought of everything to make our stay extra special.

We always enjoy staying at Vaquera House. One of our favorite aspects has been the breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately on this visit the breakfast had gone notably downhill. While they had the same menu as before the quality of the main food dishes was notably less than before. As a result we ended up eating out for breakfast after our first meal. Hopefully the quality gets back up to before as it used to be delicious

Nice property close to everything with great staff

Nice location. Friendly staff. Views are not great - we have been placed twice in a room that looks out into the neighboring building that is very close to the property. Nice showers but no bathtub. Coffee in unit but no creamer. S'mores are a nice touch. Hot tub was lukewarm and closed earlier than ideal. But a nice option for crested butte

Breakfast and location to Kebler Pass and town were excellent!

Fresh cooked breakfast to order was outstanding.
Staff was beyond friendly and accommodating.
Facility was beautiful, clean, bright, and comfortable.
Location was so convenient to walking or bicycling anywhere in town.
Also, so many added unexpected touches.

New and clean, comfortable bedding, pristine bathrooms.

This is a premium hotel. If you like, top quality service, beautiful views, spacious rooms, and an amazing breakfast. (which is included) this hotel is for you.

When you go, pay special attention to the craftsmanship in each of the rooms. It can best be described as top notch luxury.

I cannot wait to plan my next trip with my family back to this hotel.

Also, if you’ve never been to Crested Butte it is beautiful mountain town. It is so fun to explore the town on the bikes provided by the hotel.

I would give them six stars if possible.

Vaquera (cowgirl) is a delightful stay.
From Erin's initial warm welcome until several days later when Cappy wished us safe travels, the entire team worked together ensuring all needs were met. I'm no doubt missing some names, but Evian, Lohfsta, Jordan were terrific as were the folks in the kitchen. Delicious made to order daily breakfasts, breakfast sandwiches to go the morning we went for a long bike ride, fun daily happy hours with drinks and snacks. Really enjoyed the warmth and inviting decor of the boutique hotel. Well appointed finishing touches throughout the property and certainly everything you'd want in your guest room, from heated floors, towel racks, spacious shower, quality fixtures, super comfortable bedding, sheets, towels, toiletries, etc. The designer did a wonderful job. After enjoying some outdoor activities, jump in the outdoor hot tub and if its a moonless night, you'll see an amazing star show. The location is convenient to shopping, restaurants, bars and bike or equipment rentals. You may also make use of their complimentary bikes and enjoy the the nearby trails and scenery. Bottom line - highly recommend Vaquera House and I wouldn't hesitate stay again and encourage others to consider it should you travel to Crested Butte.

The breakfast was excellent. Staff was excellent. Property was beautiful and felt new and fresh. Loved the apres drinks in the afternoon. Quality linens and amenity’s in the rooms and the steam shower in our king room was a fun and excellent surprise. Having a shed where we could keep our bikes was an excellent perk as well.

Amenities & location were excellent. The breakfast ad happy hour exceeded expectations, especially the early morning to-go breakfast

Vaquero House was AMAZING. The attention to detail was top notch. We could not have been happier with our stay. We initially were looking for something on the mountain and I’m so glad we found Vaquera House instead. The furnishings and atmosphere are beautiful. They make a wonderful breakfast and happy hour each day. They made arrangements for us to have coffee and breakfast burritos when we planned to leave for a fishing trip earlier than the normal breakfast hours. We were walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in town. It’s such a homey feel instead of a massive hotel. You feel like you’re visiting a friends beautiful home and can interact as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Game room, outside games, s’mores by the fire it you want….. I can’t say enough. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

I kind of want to gate keep this amazing b&b, but the accommodations and staff were so lovely I have to share our experience!

We stayed between Christmas and New Years and felt like we were welcome guests in a luxurious home. Erinn gave amazing recommendations so we could arrange for our ski days and apres activities. Hope prepared wonderful breakfasts each day and left delicious snacks for later on.

In the evenings, we enjoyed hanging out in the expansive “living room” area, playing pool and watching movies.

Vaquera House would be ideal for groups since the shared spaces are intimate. The rooms are all located upstairs and the kitchen and common areas are below. Easy access to walk into town or catch the ski shuttle. Definitely exceeded expectations.
