Séjour de 2 nuits week-end
Chambre lit double + chambre enfants communicante, parfait pour une famille
Literie confortable, sdb pratique
Malheureusement horaire de petit dej trop tardif (8h30 le week-end) donc nous n’avons pas pu en profiter (alors que c’est l’intérêt d’un hôtel versus un gîte)
Et malheureusement du bruit à 4h du matin le dimanche pendant 1h (entre le couloir et dehors), pas la faute des gérants mais un manque de respect des autres clients

L'hôtel est en travaux mais hôtes très accueillant.
Voulant télétravailler le lendemain, et compliqué de se concentrer avec le bruit des travaux par moment en journée, Monsieur m'a gentiment proposé une autre chambre pour être tranquille.
J'ai beaucoup apprécié le geste.
Je pense que d'ici les beaux jours avec les travaux fini ça va être formidable comme lieu 🙂

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans l’hôtel avec petit déjeuner. La chambre était bien et le petit déjeuner ausdi avec du personnel très synaptique. Bon séjour

1 night stay over with dinner & breakfast for 5 people. Superb service & food was amazing!

The restaurant is excellent but the hotel part is not finished. There was a narrow, dim hallway to get to the room with wires coming out of the walls and the ceiling. The room was small and spartan.

Hôtel très agréable, calme et bien situé, personnel accueillant et attentif, très bon restaurant couplé à l’hotel. Chambre petite mais fonctionnelle et bien équipée. Facilité de parking appréciée.

Pour notre escale du WE au Faisan Doré, Nous avons passé une très bonne nuit et dégusté un très bon repas.
La chambre et la salle de bain étaient très propre et en parfait état.
Les parties communes mériteraient un "rafraîchissement", certainement prévu par les propriétaires à court terme.

The exterior of Hotel Le Faisan Dore looks old fashioned but our bedroom was newly renovated and very nice and comfortable. We stayed on a Monday which has very limited food on offer so we didn't experience 'La Table de Catherine'. It is 6 km from Argentan - a car is advisable as there are no amenities nearby.

Hotel location a bit remote but peaceful. It has a good restaurant run by the owners. Great food

Breakfast was good, the hotel appears to be undergoing a refurbishment, and the room we stayed in had not yet been done. So was dated, and in need of modernisation, including the bathroom. Although some of the rooms had been modernised, ours wasn't, so overall it was dark and disappointing.

A hidden gem. Although it’s on a freeway and decor is dated, food was great and owners were lovely and elegant people who made the stay memorable.

The outside of this hotel belies what is inside. Helpful and pleasant staff, with a well stocked bar and a brightly coloured restaurant. The wall coverings are very interesting and unusual in every respect.
Corridors to rooms are a little tired but lead to very modern, well equipped and clean rooms.
The restaurant is excellent with expertly cooked food (by Catherine) that was beautifully presented with extras not normally expected. Look at it a more of a fine dining experience! This was not expected and was very welcome.
We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will return.
