great stay - would recommend - just dont be fussy about your food....

location and building were beautiful, and the owner so welcoming...

Cons:

The food in the evening was 'ok' - also no choice except for vegi option - you got what you got basically.....at quite a high price

Beautiful house, grounds and pool. Attentive staff and nice food. Really enjoyed our one night stay. A bit difficult to find with sat nav so watch carefully for the brown signs.

EVERYTHING ! The staff, the owners, the room, the setting in beautiful grounds, the food…. Just a 5 * experience in every way ! I wanted to keep it a secret, but selfish ! I probably won’t be able to stay next time because they’ll be fully booked ! The Rosary Room was just perfect in every way for us with its private terrace, so spacious too. I’d love to, and WILL, experience the other rooms in the near future. Thank you to everyone involved, and especially making us feel special in our 20th wedding anniversary. See you all soon !

Pros:

Le cadre est splendide, la chambre aussi. Le service du matin était au petit soin. Le balcon était un vrai plus pour notre chambre nous avons beaucoup aimé. Le petit déjeuner était très bon également.
Les parties communes sont très agréable.

Cons:

Être questionné sur le pourquoi nous ne mangeons pas au restaurant et avoir le sentiment de devoir se justifier...

Pros:

Sublime ! Hors du temps. Nous avons séjourné dans la Datcha (cabane) elle est vraiment très confortable , à la hauteur d'une très belle chambre d'hôtel. Nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps c'est une belle déconnexion.
Mention spéciale pour le diner dans le jardin !

Pros:

We have been several times on our trip back to the uk .. it’s a beautiful property with a small pool to relax by in a large park .. a sauna is a great touch and an honesty bar too . At 7.30 complementary drinks are served on the terrace which gives you time to unwind and chat amongst other guests . We love staying here !

Cons:

Maybe a choice of two things to eat would be nice at dinner as you sit down you are basically told what you’re getting though you can mention what you can’t eat before hand .the pool is a small and perfectly formed area but the quiet was disturbed by parents allowing their children to jump in over and over and shout out loudly . A sigh saying something like “ please respect the
silence “ would be perfect !! There is

to run about in.

A beautiful location and great hosts.
Pros:

A beautiful property with off road parking. Set in lovely grounds. Honesty bar made it feel like a home from home. Complementary glasses of local pommeau in the room - unique touch.
