Pros:

Location and view

Cons:

Poor cleaning of room prior to arrival.
Old outdated facilities and furniture
Single beds kept rolling didnt have stoppers.
Had to ask after 5 days for more toilet paper and clean sheets and towels
Spa didnt work
Shower and toilets had other people's hair prior to our family using the facilities.
Kitchen facilities were poor not enough tea and coffee, milk, dish washing powered, washing detergent for 8 nights stay.
Old outdated random ugly pictures on wall

Great location for what we wanted and will book again.
Pros:

Great location and size of apartment.

Cons:

Apartment was quite dated. Hardly any furniture around the pool - only a few chairs.. we did ask for help with the TV (could not adjust the volume at all) , but nothing was done 😞

Pros:

Right on the Esplanade, its not a short walk but not a long walk into town. The 2 bedroom apartment was huge.

Cons:

Room is abit dated, could do with abit better cleaning. But suited our needs with a family of 5.

Would recommend
Pros:

Great location, beautiful views from the balconies, spacious apartment with clean rooms, kitchen and laundry facilities. Lovely swimming pool and sauna. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

The spa outside wasn't working, TV speaker wasn't very good, kitchen needed some more pans and utensils. Spa bath in the room leaked so we were unable to use it again. Main bedroom needs some bedside lamps.

Oasis by the Esplanade
Pros:

We loved the spaciousness of the apartment, it was very comfortable and also had air-conditioning. The Apartment manager who checked us in was very kind and helpful and communicated clearly.

For the money it was pretty good.
Pros:

Location in the Esplanades was good, but not right in the centre where the restaurants are, about 1km walk.

Cons:

Located next door to the hospital so a bit noisy. Also could use some updating, a bit tired re furnishings and fittings.

Lovely spacious appt with a great oceanview
Pros:

The view from our room was relaxing with an ocean view. Spacious room

Cons:

Being elderly the ensuite had a spa shower which was a bit dangerous to get in and out however being a 2 bedroom appt we quickly swapped with the younger couple who had a normal shower which suited us better.

Comfortable, close to CBD and value for money however somewhat ageing building.
Pros:

The location was excellent in terms of close proximity to the CBD of Cairns and The Esplanade restaurants etc. We had an apartment with a sea view which was also excellent. The apartment was spacious and had all necessary amenities.

Cons:

The outdoor spa next to the pool was not working. The jacuzzi in the main bedroom ensuite did not work (this was disappointing - we could have been told about this before booking in). Fortunate to have a washing machine and dryer but the dryer did not work (not such a problem though). Small cockroaches at night were a bit of a nuisance.

Great unit for two women in their 70’s. Would stay there again.
Pros:

Good location right on Esplanade. A bit of a walk to restaurants but easy to do. Unit was roomy. Well equipped kitchen. clean , comfy

Cons:

A few more sachets of dishwasher powder. Two not enough for a seven night stay. Minute problem!
