It was cutest hotel ever! The ashetic was spot on! I loved Carlos and Iyvanna! The entire staff was professional and polite. Very caring and helpful! The breakfast was fresh and hot! 10/10 definitely recommend!!

Great location in the center of downtown La Fortuna easy walking to all the restaurants and shops.

My family including our 10 and 11 year old children stayed here for one night while we checked out La Fortuna to see Arenal Volcano and La Fortuna Waterfall. The best thing about this hotel is the convenient location to everything and excellent customer service. We only stayed one night so it did its purpose of allowing us to stay in a place for an affordable price. But if you are saying longer and want comfortable beds with a decent pool then I say book somewhere else. It's right on the main plaza in La Fortuna so it was loud (ear plugs saved us). I also would not recommend swimming in the "pool." I think it was more of a pond and it's situated right where the restaurant is so everyone can see you while they are dining. All in all, it was an ok stay. Harrison at the front desk was amazing with his customer service and answered all our questions. Also the free breakfast was amazing so that was a highlight.

The staff were exceptional! Many restaurants in the area, also very close to many activities.

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean. The a/c units needed replacing. The onsite restaurant was nice. We reserved 2 family rooms but were placed on opposite sides of the complex.

This hotel is great. ESPECIALLY for the price. The stafff are very friendly . The rooms are really clean with a bug smart tv with all the apps. The free breakfast in the morning is really good. Coffee, juice, tea fruit and main course . I would recommend to anyone.

Recomiendo este hotel sin ninguna duda. Todos los empleados fueron amables, serviciales y dispuestos a ayudar. Karen y Daniel hicieron que nuestra experiencia fuera más de lo esperado con sus atenciones. Nuestra habitación para cuatro personas fue cómoda, siempre limpia y con todo lo esencial (aire acondicionado, máquina de café, neverita con refrigerios, toallas y artículos de higiene personal). El desayuno es buffet, variado y delicioso. Ofrece el tradicional gallo pinto, y a su vez tiene alternativas calientes y frias para el gusto de todos. La ubicación del hotel es perfecta para explorar la comunidad La Fortuna. Ubica en la vía principal de acceso al Volcán Arenal (donde en días despejados puedes observarlo) al costado de la Iglesia Católica. En el hotel puedes coordinar las diferentes actividades y excursiones que La Fortuna ofrece (hicimos varias y todas fueron espectaculares). El hotel cuenta con restaurante llamado Maria Bonita Steak House y una barra, Selva Negra Cocktail & Wine Bar. Tuve oportunidad de visitar ambos y fueron espectaculares, tanto en calidad, servicio y experiencia disfrutada. Para algo más ligero cuentan con La Ventanita de Maria Bonita, donde ofrece platos más ligeros igualmente ricos en ordenes para llevar. Este hotel superó todas mis expectativas en todos los aspectos y sin duda volvería a alojarme aquí.

All of the staff we met were super kind and accommodating. Very good service. The breakfast buffet was good, with the gallo pinto being a highlight. It’s right on the center and easy to get around.

I loved this hotel! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Food at the restaurant was delicious! The only con was that there was no elevator. However the front desk crew were happy to help with luggage.

It is excelently located, walking distance to most places in La Fortuna.

Excellent location and spectacular Renal volcano view

Excellent breakfast and customer service!! Noisy at night because of the bar but noise stops around 10pm. Everything is near and wakable. My kids favorite part was the towel shapes that they leave on the bed every morning after cleaning the room. Staff is professional and nice at all times.

Loved the location and secure parking 2 blocks away. Staff was kind and accommodating. Only gripe is I booked a 3 single bed room and was places in a 2 bed (1 full and 1 single) room.

Reception staff was wonderful! JJ is an absolute star , their recommendations for restaurants & things to do were top notch !
The rooms are pretty dated , but clean , sheets have been used for waaay too long , they're stained & worn . Breakfast was great , no problems with the hot water. The room was quite noisy ( concert from either the fridge/freezer , the fan in the bathroom or somewhere in the walls ).
