Nothing. Awful place. Didn’t stay. Booked another hotel.
It was filthy. No reception. Did not feel secure.
Lovely people .so near everything you need .clean lively breakfast.
Nothing
Excellent position with good parking. Very friendly and very good breakfast.
Convenient. Parking
Perfectly acceptable budget hotel in a good location. Friendly staff. Room clean, small kitchenette provided with fridge. Bed linen nice and fresh, and a comfortable bed. Surprisingly quiet, given the location. Delicious breakfast available, should you want it. Free parking is a bonus, and great, although it's not guaranteed.
The towels were a little tired, and small. The only noise was a little internal noise, but nothing too late or excessive. You could not open the window in our room, so next time we stay I will request a room with a window that opens. The exterior and car park looked a little rundown, but this was being painted as we stayed.
Lovely people just kind
All good
good
bed
How it was central to everything.
Very disappointing stay. On arrival we were given a disabled room, which was not suitable for our needs. The room was dirty, with stains on the duvet and water marks on the ceiling, raising concerns about cleanliness and maintenance.
To make matters worse, there was no hot water during our stay or towels. Even basic facilities were poorly throughout – the kettle wouldn't fit properly under the hand-wash sink to fill it.
The overall condition of the room was so poor that a prison cell would have been more comfortable. Due to the number of issues, we ended up having to move to another hotel altogether.
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to cleanliness, maintenance, and guest facilities.
We have stayed there before a few years back and appreciate the parking and facilities in the rooms. It is in an excellent location to the promenade and the town centre.
We wished to stay longer but alas could not
it was a large room with a comfy bed it had a fridge and cooking facilities
nothing it was a decent room for the price
Hotel is in a great location on the promenade, a short walk from the shops and attractions. The rail station is only a short walk away and also for local busses.
I stayed for 12 nights while I attended a course during which the bed wasn't changed, room wasn't cleaned nor did I receive any clean towels. I also had to buy loo roll. I didn’t spend much time in the room as the TV did not work almost every channel was pixelated and you could only turn it on and off via the TV as the remote did not work. The room had a microwave but no fridge. The hotel is drab and in dia need of a full refurbishment that’s probably why it’s so cheap. I wish I had paid a bit extra though and stayed somewhere else. Never the less it served its purpose.
Get rid of the dreaded wood chip wallpaper, update windows and doors refresh carpets, beds and curtains to bring the rooms up to current standards, make sure your maids are checking in with people if the need their rooms cleaning or fresh towels, replenish loo roll etc,to me that’s basic stuff.
Superb location and view overlooking the promenade. Spacious family rooms with adjoining large shower room and enclosed kitchenette. Comfy, clean beds. Free parking on site was a real bonus too.
Reception area, outside paintwork and shared entrance areas could do with some TLC but overall an enjoyable stay at a reasonable price. Would stay again.
The staff were lovely and the breakfast was wonderful
Room 8 was a complete letdown. When sitting on the loo, your knees touched the opposite wall. My partner had a bit of trouble when he needed to go as he is tall. The mattress was old and uncomfortable, with no wardrobe. There was a huge self-contained kitchen in the room, which is not necessary 🤔
