Nothing at all

I don't know where to start!
Arrival....reception bomb site...
Dining area....bomb site
Decor through to room...water stains everywhere, old and shabby is the best description!
Room....well we needed a family room on ground floor, as travelling with elderly mum, what we got was totally indescribable! Wierd is an understatement! It had an old kitchen range like in all the period dramas with a battered old table in front and two decrepid chairs, the wardrobe was an old kitchen built in larder cupboard and a bedside table in front with kettle on and two plates and knives and forks under.
Fridge in other corner with microwave on....this was more like a scrappy bedsit.
Shower room ok but built up dirt in every corner of shower and on the shower screen door runners, thick brown muck. Plug didn't work in sink, shower head wouldn't stay in position...it was all a joke.
One window looking out to another window and bits of rubbish on floor so not even a view of anything.
Not a single picture on water stained walls...it was like a dungeon and to top it off, on leaving I was checking all shelves in so called wardrobe and found a whip!! Unreal!
This was described as a hotel, this is not a hotel, nobody emptied our bins in 4 days, no clean towels and no staff to be seen anywhere.
It is the worst place we have ever stayed and looking at some reviews, there must be some decent rooms somewhere but it certainly wasn't room 16!
Luckily me and mum go out everyday so we just made the best of an awful experience and the bedding was crisp and white so that was the only reason we didnt kick up a fuss!

Room could have been a bit warmer

The mattress was very uncomfortable… springs were sticking out. The wind hitting the windows was very noisy on a couple of nights.

Fine for my needs but bit run down.

Think the batteries in a smoke alarm were wearing down as there was a constant beeping over the two night stay. Easily rectified and I'm sure it was when I left.

Bed was little hard for me

The hotel roomed I booked was absolutely vile. Filled with black mould hidden behind a kitchen unit (that also lacked basic essentials) that I could smell in the air the second we entered the room. The carpeting in front of the kitchen unit was soaking wet as well likely still contributing to the mould that, after asking the receptionist who had the look of a man who had vacated this plane of existence, that a previous guest had left the freezer to melt and thus soaked the floor and caused the mould. I was refused a new room because there was none left so for the sake of my own and my child's health, we had to leave the apartment without even staying one night. The hotel is refusing a refund despite knowing that this room is filled with dangerous black mould. Would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemies.
