Good location and parking
Absolutely great value for what we paid I will book again location great 👍
The bathroom was small and compact
Location. Close to attractions cafes restaurants buses / trains
Room cold and draughty.windows streaming with condensationon in the morning, furniture dated ,repaired with gaffa tape no support from cushions. Bathroom tiny shower cubicle mold all over tiles restricted access due to shower door opening onto sink, ( lager person would have difficulty getting in) no facilities in shower cubicle to put shampoo etc, mold in corner . Plus) side appears to have had new carpet, bed , curtains ( that required more hooks and fitting properly
Large size of room
Friendly staff
Free parking
Brilliant location
Nothing, for the price this is a lovely little hotel.
Particularly liked self catering aspect. In a serviced room, a kitchenette allowed a mix of hotel service & self catering. Together with free on site parking, helpful staff and great location made this an ideal retreat at the end of a busy day.
Initial impression of a jaded old building but the saying " don't judge a book by its cover" applies here. Better service here than at an old 'big name' hotel where we spent a few nighrs .
Clean
Finding the propert first time
Location was spot on
Brilliant location, excellent staff, lovely breakfast and very good value.
Parking is limited but on road isn't too expensive
Good value budget hotel in a great location
Requested a ground floor room but was given a first floor room with stairs that were a problem for my disabled partner
It was in a very good location. Central to everything. The gentleman who was at the reception desk was very friendly and showed me to my room.
There was nothing to dislike
We generally like visiting Southport
The location of the hotel is good
Was bit cold in the room
We could not connect to WiFi but not sure if that was included in the cost
Everything is 10 by 10
.
Nice catering facilities
I could not open the window
Good value for Money
Bed was comfy and we had a fridge and kettle
The man on the dress was a bit grumpy there was no soap for the shower
It's a very tired hotel that requires significant restoration. Being listed as grade 2 and I think new owners Rimmer Hotels have a big task. The picture of the front bears no actual resemblance to the actual building. The outside appearance is tired and requires maintenance both the the car park and to the facade of the outer building. I was in Room 8, the windows were rotten one could put their finger into the bare wood surround of the window and your finger without pressure sinks into the wood. Even with a grade two building new windows frames and double glazing can be fitted.
The room itself was clean and presentable containing a large cupboard with a key safe, microwave, and at some point a fridge would have been in situ. For the price I paid it was cheap and I only needed somewhere to sleep. The TV did cease to operate which I reported on the day of leaving.
Overall it is what it is a provision of cheap clean accommodation
