Good location and staff, poor rooms
Pros:

Cons:

The building wasn't in good shape, there was an infestation amount of flies and insects in the doorway as you walked in and out and the window in the room was broken, nearly hanging off. The staff were lovely but I definitely wouldn't book again.

Nice 2 day getaway
Pros:

Cheap, clean and friendly. Full English breakfast for 10 pounds. Lighter and healthier options price included cereal, juice, hot drink and toast.
Bed was very comfortable.nice 2 day getaway

Cons:

Before booking, the rooms should be described much more accurately — including what they contain and what views they have. When I booked two rooms for myself and my friend, the only information provided was ‘room with a view’ or no view information at all. There was nothing to indicate that the windows looked directly onto the wall of the neighbouring building, only about three metres away.Additionally, the ground‑floor room had a smoking area right under the window, where people often sat and talked loudly. This should be clearly mentioned in the room description, as it affects comfort and privacy.

I could not stay even though I had paid. I was alone with 2 kids with nowhere to park my car

It's right by the seafront and town center

Cons:

Parking limited to spaces. Quite expensive for the room/facilities though we visited on the British Open golf week so price was probably inflated.
