Perfect choice in great location.
Pros:

Lovely hotel in great location next to the park.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Food was fantastic, huge portions and very well priced.

Cons:

Slightly cold in places.
Our double room was very small with nowhere to sit other than the bed.

Definitely recommend 👌 great stay!
Pros:

Beautiful decor, traditional period features of property. Nice welcoming staff. Delicious Scottish breakfast! Nice clean rooms.

Nice stay, confortable room to sleep in. The employees were very kind and gave good advice.
Pros:

Great location close to the sea, very quiet room and hotel. The restaurant is nice and the food in it is great (awesome breakfast as well).

Cons:

The view was a bit disappointed (room 15, on the inside of the building) and the bathroom had a bad smell. I also think that the tap from the bathroom had some dirt on the inside, maybe because it had not been used for a couple of days ?

Good stay in character property with excellent staff.
Pros:

Excellent choice and portions although some of cooked breakfast was dried out.

Cons:

En-suite was slightly small / restrictive and room was cold overnight but both comments were due to working within property constraints, which is understandable.

Lovely stay. Friendly and welcoming team.
Pros:

It was quiet in the evenings (granted we did stay mid week in January) and felt comfortable and welcome throughout our stay. Our breakfast was included in our stay, you definitely don’t want to miss out on those, the food was brilliant!

Cons:

This isn’t something we would say we ‘didn’t like’ about the property but the only thing we’d point out would be the bathroom could maybe use a little touch up. It didn’t put us off and would definitely return.

Pros:

Staff were excellent. Traveled up for a family occasion booked 2 single rooms however the rooms were at the back of the hotel and rarely used hence no heating and in a bit of a sorry state. Communicated this to the staff, who swapped our rooms to something more comfortable. Good experience other than the first rooms. Staff were amazing, good and bar was great. Couldn’t complain and value for money.

SMALL BATHROOM BED UNCOMFORTABLE BREAKFAST LOVELY
Pros:

Breakfast was really good, coffee lovely and staff very friendly

Cons:

Room 4 ! Bathroom was so small I had to leave the bathroom door open to shave, shower tiny and no room to move ! And the bed mattress was so soft and the springs could be felt through the bed.

Great staff good food great service however due poor bed room I would not stay again untill there is an upgrade to the r

Staff fantastic. Food really good.

Cons:

I had room 19 and the shower and sink taps constantly dripped. No bed side table.
The worst was the temperature of the room. It was freezing. 1 radiator in bathroom did not work. And the one in the bed room was on off but never warmed the room.
