Wedding party accommodation
Pros:

The grounds were clean and pretty and the hotel bar was efficiently run..
Breakfast was very good and the food cooked well . Prompt service on the patio.
The beds were comfortable and bedding clean.
Air con was effective in only one room out of 3. I had to ask at reception how to use it though. Instructions in the room would be useful.
Staff were helpful and smiley.

Cons:

The swimming pool showers were not clean especially the draining areas .
There were no antiseptic wipes available for the gym. Most gyms provide this.
The food in the bar was very poor. Service for desserts was slow.
The pie and the spaghetti didn't even taste homemade. We 5 were all very disappointed.

All 3 rooms were out dated and the furniture old fashioned. No plugs next to the beds, old net curtains and water pressure was poor in 2 of the rooms.
Our room.overlooked the air conditioning machine which was on 24 hours and I had to wear earplugs to try and hide the noise at night. It was hot so wanted the window open.
The check in system for breakfast is personal but very slow and a queue builds quickly.

Each of us paid a different amount for rooms that were almost identical which was alarming. Why aren't they consistent with pricing?

One room out of 3 had a fridge however it was very inadequate and hardly cooled anything.

Fresh milk and glasses in the room would be better. We only had mugs to drink from.

OK but would not stay again as not good for disabled person using a wheelchair and crutches
Pros:

The room was adequate in size for my disabled husband and his wheelchair. Breakfast was ok although there was only 1 coffee machine working for the amount of people that were staying.

Cons:

The disabled rooms were too far from reception for my husband to walk using his crutches as he is in constant agony so he had to use his wheelchair which then would not fit in the lift as the lift is too narrow. Overall the hotel is not really designed for disabled use and when we left the breakfast area there was a queue of people on the disabled walk way so my husband could not use his wheelchair and had to negotiate the couple of steps out of the restaurant using his crutches while in agony. There should have been a notice telling people not to queue on the disabled walk way. In the evening trying to get served at the bar took ages as there didn't seem enough staff on for the amount of people there were staying.

Business trip to Norwich
Pros:

Lovely hotel, great location. Pool was a good size, staff really friendly and food was great.

Cons:

There was a generator like noise coming from somewhere up until about 11pm then started again at 5am. Annoying on the first night but got used to it. Still not good if you where awake at 5 as it was then really obvious.

A fantastic weekend golf break with welcoming staff, beautiful surroundings, and excellent facilities throughout.
Pros:

All staff were very welcoming, with beautiful surroundings and a very nice hotel overall. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the view overlooking the 18th hole was entertaining! The restaurants were excellent, and both the golf course and staff were very helpful. Our weekend golf break certainly did not disappoint.

Not great
Pros:

The staff worked hard, and were efficient.

Cons:

Rules and general sense that every penny was to be squeezed out.
Golf club: Two tv screens for sports, in different areas but not able to show separate sports. No draft bitter (no demand)
Last orders at 11 - in a hotel bar
A room for 4 hours for my non-resident daughter to change for her wedding - £340 (2 nights stay)
Payment: up front deposit to draw down on for meals etc. Ivd never seen that before.
Robes: £5 each.
Etc etc etc
