Hotel was beautiful, in a great location. Our room was in a quiet part overlooking the golf course.
Very varied breakfast selection and dinner was good. Staff were happy, friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Dining room service was a bit disorganised at breakfast and dinner. At breakfast we were shown to table and told staff member would come and take our order, didn’t happen. Service was slow at dinner,cleared our dinner plates, didn’t come back. Had to ask another server for dessert menu.

We loved exploring the grounds of the hotel including the leisure facilities. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful grounds. Beautiful looking building. The Terrace bar was a nice space to have drinks in the evening. Good breakfast. Close to Norwich and the Norfolk Broads.
Rooms a little dated - net curtains had holes and curtains were falling off the curtain rail. No fridge in our room but other family members had a fridge in their rooms (not great given the cost of the rooms). Strange mechanical noise at night which kept me awake (think it was the lift at 3-4am!!). Smell of weed in the corridors and a lot of very drunk golfers even in the morning - not helped by having the Bunkers bar open 24/7. Breakfast very busy (I guess too be expected on a bank holiday weekend). The Terrace bar was nice but filled up with drunk golfers. Not really the quiet country hotel experience I had hoped for.
