Location is excellent. Walking distance to all main attractions. Quality and range of food available for breakfast was exceptional. Staff were very friendly and stored baggage as we had a later flight. Some cookies and chocolates were left in our room which was appreciated as we didn't arrive until after midnight.
Only small issues so we didn't flag with anyone. One of the bath towels had holes in it. The only other issue was that we couldn't sit in the bar area after 11pm. The reception is still open but it would have been nice to sit beside electric fire with view of street outside.

The location is incredibly convenient. It is only a couple of minutes' walk from São Bento Station, making it very easy to get to when arriving in the city. You are also within easy walking distance of major landmarks like the Porto Cathedral, Igreja de Santo Ildefonso, the Imperial McDonald's, and the famous Luís I Bridge.
For food and beverages, the hotel is perfectly positioned. It is not far away from Conga (around 5 mins walk), the famous local spot known for its amazing bifana and francesinha. It is also close to Pingo Doce, a handy supermarket located right up the hill near Santa Catarina Street, which is great for grabbing daily essentials...and also boozes.
While the hotel is very close to the train station, Porto's streets can be quite steep and uneven. If you are walking with heavy luggage, that short couple-of-minutes walk can definitely feel a bit longer.

Room - was very cold and it appeared that no matter what changes made on 'in room thermostat' the room temperature stayed the same. After a couple of days we asked for more heat and the front desk person gave us a portable heater. We found out the hotel was recently renovated and it has 'central heating' so the whole hotel/floor has one heat setting. The room was also poorly laid out.

O hotel conta com um ótimo restaurante italiano, café da manhã excelente e funcionários muito atenciosos. Os quartos oferecem boas comodidades, incluindo produtos de higiene pessoal, como shampoo e creme, além de secador de cabelo.
De modo geral, é um hotel de excelente padrão, com estrutura, serviços e conforto compatíveis com sua categoria de quatro estrelas.
Fiquei hospedada no quarto 409 e, mesmo estando sozinha, achei desconfortável o quarto ter apenas uma janela pequena, diferente das fotos apresentadas na reserva, que mostravam duas janelas amplas.
Outro ponto negativo foi o serviço de táxi solicitado por intermédio do hotel. Fui informada de que a corrida até o aeroporto custaria aproximadamente 15 euros. No entanto, ao chegar ao destino, às 5h50 da manhã, o motorista me cobrou 35 euros, alegando o horário e o fato de ter sido contratado como um táxi especial para o hotel. Além disso, informou que o pagamento com cartão teria um acréscimo de 2 euros.
Embora a cobrança seja de responsabilidade do taxista, considero que o hotel deveria ter informado previamente sobre essas condições e possíveis custos adicionais, evitando uma surpresa tão desagradável.
Fabulous location, great staff and an excellent restaurant/bar
Property location was amazing
The rooms are sound proof which was needed we were facing the main street but did have any issues with street noise. Staff helped by pre-booking an airport transfer which for us costed less than a bolt ride. Our room had an empty small fridge which helps put your wine bottles etc....We enjoyed our stay
