Tiene algunos detalles interesantes en su estética, como la terraza de su bar à la calle, o sus puertas de entrada de acero corten. Du ubicación es bastante buena.
Nos alojamos en la suite gracias a un upgrade el mismo día de check-in, pero la habitación tenía una moqueta gris sucia y pegadiza, un cajón del baño que se abría solo continuamente, soportes de jabón à punto de caer, ventanas sucias, problemas con el agua del baño (solo salía caliente), en definitiva tratamos de pasar lo menos tiempo posible alli lo cual es una pena dado el precio (alto) gastado. Experiencia decepcionante

The food offering could be better
Hotel was conveniently located in the main tourist area. Easy to walk around, good wifi.
My Airconditioning didn't work and the windows don't open, so it was really stuffy. The worst thing about this was I immediately raised it with hotel reception and they just didn't care. I ended up raising it on five occassions, each time I was told it would be resolved or they'd switch me to another room and then they'd never follow up or fix it. It was just complete indifference.
On checking in, there was another guest complaining his shower wasn't working and that he'd followed up with them six times, so I think this is probably common that the staff just don't care, but if you didn't have any issues with your room you'd probably wouldn't notice.
Also the beds were quite uncomfy and the rooms were a fair bit more drab than pictured.

Location excellent, and very good staff. Good breakfast choice, but another useless commercial toaster, which seems to be a common theme in the better class hotels.
Classic example of style over practicality, sink taps behind bowl style basin meant water every where, shower door wouldn’t open if bath matt on floor. Loo privacy door very heavy and difficult to use. No full length hanging space for my wife’s longer dresses. Room safe too low to read code easily. Also no external siting area for coffee or pre dinner drinks. Fine for an overnight stay, but look elsewhere for longer stays with outside space.
Observations for potential guests.
Fabulous location in easy reach of Sao Bento station and metro along with city centre attractions. Amazing attentive staff in all areas. Calm relaxing for a 2 night stay.
Problem with a light in bathroom that wasnt fixed.
Breakfast was great, location was fantastic, and staff was very pleasant. The bed was clean and comfortable. The common area in the lobby, restaurant, and bar were also clean.
Online the hotel was rated above a 9 for cleanliness, so we were very surprised by the stained carpet, dust in the corners, chips and marks on walls and borders, and especially the grime on the tile.
Great breakfast. We were upgraded to a suite which was superb would definitely stay here again. Great location for historical sites in Porto. 12 midday check out so were able to do more sightseeing in the morning.
