The welcome was great, the room was a good sizes and breakfast was great with plenty of options would stop here again when in the area.

Location and character
Perhaps being on the top/attic floor! But so much going on that weekend .. we coped with bags!
Evening meal was good. The bed was very comfy. The hotel was very well positioned for the High Street
Lack of bottled water in the room. Your website pics did not reflect in any way what was available. No croissants or pastries. No fruit, no fresh loaves save packet bread. No yoghurt or fruit or muesli. No home made jam. For continental: no cheese, ham tomatoes or cucumber. All these were shown in the pictures on your website. It was advertised as a 4 star. Management on our vacating denied it was and said that was pre-covid. The prices however reflected a 4 star. Parking was through a very narrow tunnel and dangerous to turn into. My wing mirrors were damaged. We came down to get some bottled water at 10.15 and the Bar and surrounds were shut and locked. No phone in the bedroom and no suggestion there was a night porter. The stairs were extremely dangerous to traverse; any disability would have led you unable to go up the stairs. No internet in bedroom so could not stay as I needed this to attend as a lawyer in Swindon.

Exceptionally clean fabulous decor. Food in the restaurant was outstanding and the breakfast was great value. The owners were amazing very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make sure our stay was a fantastic one. And the staff were just as amazing nothing was too much trouble for them. Very highly recommend.
