Great hotel in pleasant Highworth
Pros:

Hotel in a village near Swindon so relaxed location.
Car parking on site. Narrow entrance mentioned but we didn't find this at all of an issue ( standard width car)
Nice room - bath in bathroom. Clean and nicely decorated.
Within extremely close location of restaurants etc.

Cons:

Whilst the cooked breakfast was excellent, it would have been better if there had been fruit / yogurt / pastries available. Not everybody wants cooked breakfast, even those who do would appreciate the other options also.

It's worth knowing that the hotel was very noisy on a Saturday evening with lots of events going on. It didn't concern us at all but it could be a consideration for anybody who wants to sit with a drink in the hotel bar.

Historic property, nicely decorated, warm welcome, friendly atmosphere

Cons:

Getting to the car park, it’s an old building made when horse and cart were the method of transport, the archway you pass through is very very tight, not the owners fault but beware of it

Pros:

The location was ideal,great car park round the back,out of site.spacious room.

Really could do with a face lift and a deep clean. The shower was definitely a let down!

Good place to stay.
Pros:

Period building but modernised.
Very comfortable mattress and the room was a generous size. Friendly and welcoming staff.
Has a really nicely cooked breakfast - I know the property is known for its food.

Gorgeous hotel, delicious breakfast
Pros:

Lovely location, beautiful building. The suite we had was beautiful, very clean, there fans in the room too which was a bonus as it was warm overnight. We were overlooking the beer garden, we thought it might be loud but it wasn't. The staff were lovely. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and good position for Highworth town. Car parking out the back.

The room was a good size and clean, had all that your required, kettle, iron and board, hair dryer. Bed comfy.
