Quality family time, ease of access to everything from shopping to eating out to going to the worlds
Pros:

Location was close to Pacific Fair, Broadbeach South tram station. Access to buses, the star city, beach views, playgrounds a short walk, the beach was a short walk. Cafes and places to eat all within 5-10 minute walk- it was perfect

Good location and friendly staff but our room was very dated.
Pros:

Location is good and within walking distance to beach and light rail. The communal areas were well maintained and it was good to have a small cafe on site.The view of the coast was terrific.

Cons:

The room we stayed in (U1152B) was very dated and poorly furnished. There was only one chair on the balcony, the bed coverings were old and the crockery and glassware was extremely sparse. There were two mismatched plastic cups, two old cups and bowls and we had to ring down to reception to find some wine glasses for us. We were only staying for two nights so managed.

A large two bedroom apartment for a very good price.
Pros:

For the same price as a single room at other places we secured a two bedroom apartment. This was important as travelling with a 9 month old baby we needed to put to bed early. The size of the apartment was fantastic. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large lounge and good full kitchen with laundry. We felt well setup. There is a good pool, BBQ areas, and a cafe inside the resort which caters well for coffee and breakfast. A very short walk to Pacific Fair! 5 minute walk into the heart of Broadbeach will all the cafes, bars, restaurants, and the beach! The rubbish chute on every floor is very handy! We also had a rental car and resort offers free parking - we always managed to find a park - but noticed busier come the weekend.

I'd look for something more modern nearby.
Pros:

Size of apartment was great. Stuff was friendly and helpful. Great that Pacific Fair and Draculas are 10 minutes walk. Train stop is just across the road. Aircon works well.

Cons:

Quite outdated, not worth the money imho.
Jacuzzi was very dirty on day 1. Cleaned on day 2. Small cafe has weird working hours, no cocktails, mediocre expensive coffee. PLEASE CHANGE THAT SOAP BARS. They leave nasty feel of hands and never really clean, smelling like we are in 90-s.
One of the TVs didn't work.
Was difficult to find reception. The google maps lead to a small closed door next to convenience store, right at the door two drunk homeless people were living. Only a paper saying Entrance reception through North Tower. How am I suppose to know which building is it? No map, no other signs. Not cool for people with luggage to wonder around such a huge complex looking for entrance. Ruins first impression.
