Pros:

It is a bit of a blast from the past. Beautiful gardens, nice, big swimming pool, big room with a terrace overlooking the gardens, hand-painted elevator doors. Must have been one of the very top hotels in Ticino.

Cons:

More plugs in the room. 24 hour front desk. Did not subtract from a great stay.

Pros:

Der Garten ist wunderschön. Das Personal super freundlich.

Cons:

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber eigentlich schon wieder Retro (verzinkte Aschenbecher in den öffentlichen Toiletten)

Das Personal war sehr freundlich

Cons:

Das es kein Service gab beim Pool.
Das unser Lavabo unten nicht mehr dicht war und wir am Schluss nur noch das Wasser von der Badewanne benutzen konnten um Zähne zu putzen.
Das Bad ist renovierungs bedürftig.

Good to fair overall, price too high, facilities and restaurant are great.
Pros:

It’s a beautiful quiet location, with an easy walk to the city.

Cons:

Me and my friend were surprised about the self check-in. Plus the system didn’t work so we had to walk -in the rain- to the main building where we were helped in a friendly way. Which made up concerning our first impression. Without that first impression -a face, or a person- is needed I think, because for this price I imagine another price range per night. I’m quite travelled.

Das Hotel, allgemein das Tessin und die Region Lugano kann ich nur herzlich empfehlen
Pros:

Wundervolles Hotel, kreativ und herzlich eingerichtet. Sehr nettes, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Zentral gelegen optimal für Ausflüge oder für Lugano zu erkunden. Zimmer waren extrem sauber. Mega leckeres Frühstück. Und viele Parkmöglichkeiten vor allem eine grosse Tiefgarage

Cons:

Deutlichst in die Jahre gekommen und abgewohnt. Flecken auf dem Teppichboden, Türen und Türrahmen mit abgeblätterter Farbe. Billig wirkende Zimmertür und Schranktüren. Vollkommen defekter Korbstuhl auf dem Balkon. Rezeption nur rudimentär besetzt. Keine Bar.
