Pros:

Bit walk to subway, area seems bit out of the way but close to the commercial shopping street. Hotel is bare-bone. Everything is self serve. Staff does not speak English. Maybe the language barrier make them seem unfriendly. I won’t stay here again. Paying CA410/night for a 2 star hotel or motel doesn’t make sense

Pros:

Good- slept well, good selection of pillows, baths were great, room comfortable.

So so- the bathroom could have been cleaner, but I didn't complain.

Pros:

3月で閉館になるとのことで以前も泊まったこともあり、最後にと思い宿泊しました。
立地的に歩くので冬旅行の時のキャリーケースは大変でした…入り口も階段なのでスロープがほしいところ。
朝食は大変満足でした！
スタッフさん皆にこにこで優しくて対応も良かったです。

今回こちらのホテルを利用させて頂きましたが、行ってみて分かりましたが微妙に最寄りのバス停や駅が近かったのがちょっと不便で冬の雪の中だったので結局タクシーを高い、ちょっと割高になってしまったかなと。
そのほか、清潔感、スタッフの方々の御対応、朝食は良かったと思います。ただ一つ、備え付けのハンドソープが成分が強いのか水分を持ってから結構ガザガサになり、もう少し優しいハンドソープだと良かったなと。
お風呂サウナは最高でした。

Nice room and spa pool. But taxi service was terrible since they sent a small cab to fit 4 of us and our luggages bags even we already informed them we needed a big van.

I did not enjoy my stay here and I think this is the first time I didn't like a hotel in Japan. I find that most of the people who work at hotels are very welcoming and kind. I know that having to welcome foreigners isn't always fun so I tried to use the very limited Japanese I've learned to help but upon first check in, the front desk was unsmiling and unhappy. It was very offputting. She didn't handed me my keys but didn't mention that I got meal tickets and I assumed it was just information on the hotel and didn't think to check (that is my fault). I only saw later that I had free meal tickets. A couple of other times that i've tried to talk to other staff, they had the same demeanor except 2 of the staff members. One helped me get back into my room after I accidentally left my key inside and the other came in midway after another person was helping me ship a package.

The room itself was not great. Everything felt a bit outdated and gross. Because it's the winter, I've been soaking in my tubs since I have tattoos and can't go to the public baths. The tub at this hotel looked unclean and the sink as well. There was an orange ring around the drain. Everything looked like it wasn't cleaned very well. The room itself was fine and manageable although a bit small.
