The Lemon Tree

We visited from Canada to see our first pro football match in Wrexham. We would highly recommend a stay here - very nice boutique hotel, restaurant was amazing and staff were very welcoming - we will definitely be back - thank you to the team at the Lemon Tree for a memorable stay!

Returned here numerous times. The level of cleanliness and service never fails to impress. The rooms are decorated very tastefully and perfect for a weekend stay. The restaurant offers amazing food and never fails to impress. Great value. The front of house staff are amazing. Nothing too much trouble for them. Always greet you with a smile. It feels like coming home. Definitely the place to be. Enjoyed our family and friends Christmas get together and already planning our next visit. Thank you everyone Oh and not forgetting the cocktails. Excellent value.

Stayed one night on business in this comfortable hotel which has an excellent location in the centre of Wrexham. Good room, good night's sleep and ok shower. Breakfast was also quite good.

We had a wonderful weekend break at The Lemon Tree. The staff were attentive and extremely welcoming and friendly, especially Matt. A big thank-you to the team, in particular Chef and the kitchen staff, who produced some amazing food!! We would definitely stay again, and strongly recommend this charming, independent hotel to everyone.

The food was amazing and beautifully presented. The staff are very friendly and attentive.
The restaurant is decorated with great taste. It’s a lovely ambience.
The hotel room however was adequate but a bit dated. Bed was comfortable.

Hotel had everything we needed for our overnight stay, but would have stayed here longer if required.
Room was clean and set up really nicely with small fridge and coffee machine.

Lemon tree was very nice, room had everything we needed.
Staff were very helpful and informative.
Only down side was the fact we were there on a Wednesday when the restaurant is closed.
Restaurant only open Thurs-Sun.

Great service by Anuj and his team for breakfast on Saturday morning 29th Nov! Will surely come back to this hotel!!! Highly recommended!!!

Very clean and comfortable rooms - only a bit chilly in the bathroom with single pane windows and only a towel heater
James on reception was super friendly & helpful
I was in a van so parking was a bit tight
Restaurant was closed otherwise we would have had dinner before going to the theatre so didn't sample the food

i would recommend this hotel the staff were so helpful. helped us with taxis and speedy check in.

The afternoon tea was very disappointing. The food was not fresh, only 2 sandwiches - egg and cheese. Considering previous review I expect a lot more it was not worth the almost £60 for 3 people. I do not recommend The Lemon Tree. The service was good - parking is not easy!

We enjoyed a really lovely overnight stay in this fabulous, friendly hotel when we visited Wrexham to see a band.
Normally I struggle to sleep in an unfamiliar bed but I had the best night’s sleep as it was so quiet.
The breakfast the following morning was delicious. We both had a full English and it filled us up for the day.
The hotel is in an excellent location for accessing the centre of Wrexham on foot.
We were very impressed and will definitely return!

Great, convenient place to stay. We also had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. The only small thing I'd change is some softer pillows but everything else was great.

This is simply a wonderful place to stay. Clean, well-run and in a beautiful historic building that looks like a Christmas tree when lit up at night. Sam the owner, Matt, James, Rafi, Harvey, Gosia all took great care of us. Did I mention the food? The restaurant is first class, as is the food. Be sure to take the afternoon tea, you won't be disappointed. We've had it at the Savoy in London, that was great, this was better (kudos to Bobby, the chef). Thank you to everyone at The Lemon Tree for a super week's stay.

I would recommend the Lemon Tree Hotel to anyone heading to Wrexham and looking for a nice place to stay.
