Good location.
The light is dim.
The location was great especially for anyone who is visiting Xiada (Xiamen University). The staff was helpful when I asked them to change my room because the one they gave me at first had a distinctive smell.
1. Their name is different and they don't inform you about it, the hotel now is called Magnolia Hotel (白玉兰酒店). 2. They didn't reply at any of my messages on booking (either in English or Mandarin), so I had to call them to make sure they had seen my reservation (the conversation was in Mandarin, not in English as they said noone speaks English there) 3. Kind of dirty 4. I couldn't charge my devices easily as the sockets worked partially.

If you expect luxury or modern facilities, not your place. Good place for younger guys who want to be surrounded by gamers.
Very old facility and poor room setups. Unprofessional service. Having a big name, but a poor level of facilities and service.
The location is very good, the staff is friendly and helpful.
The location was excellent and kind of in the middle of everywhere! Friendly English speaking front desk! Comfortable warm bed! Air filter machine was a big plus!

Area is near establishments, Xiamen University, Zhongshanlu etc. Hotel is very clean. Staff are nice, kind, corteous and very helpful.
I got lost at first because the hotel has different name when I arrived there.
Good location near the old part of Xiamen, near Nanputou and the canal. Wonderful view of Conrad Towers at night.
Toilet tissue seems to be an issue in China. We had to ask every day for it to be restocked. Is there a shortage? Come on now.
