We spent a week at the hotel in a junior suite. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed and pillows. We didn't need it but there was a pillow menu. The mini bar in the room was good, also has Nespresso coffee machine. Great shower, complete with shampoo, conditioner and shower wash etc. The suite is not huge, but is perfect for a couple. The view from the small balcony is stunning. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious, also a great selection of hot and cold food at breakfast. The only thing I would say is that it's not that suitable for people with reduced mobility. Would definitely return to Hoposa Niu, its a beautiful hotel in a beautiful area.
Lovely small hotel, friendly staff and a superb location. The bar is next door to the beach and a lovely place for a drink.
Our room was rear facing and very small which was a negative. The air con was effective and the room was cleaned daily. Clean towels when you wanted.
The hotel advertises a swimming pool on its roof. Don’t believe it! It is a plunge pool at best because it is tiny! However, the sun beds were good and it was a nice place to catch the sun in a peaceful setting.
The breakfast was excellent with a huge choice of cold meats, cheese, pastries, breads and hot food.
Such a pretty place with great restaurants and a lovely little beach. The staff were so friendly and helpful
It was our 1st visit to Cala san vicente and we definately picked the best hotel.
What a lovely boutique hotel. Small and perfectly formed.
We stayed for a week and had a fabulous experience. Breakfast and lunch was lovely. The staff were so helpful. Special thanks to Concita, who when the hotel had a plumbing issue, was most attentive making sure we were ok and keeping us regularly informed. Xchika and Andrea made us feel most comfortable and welcome.
They staff at front desk always went that extra mile. Nothing was too much trouble.
We would.love to return back next year. X
Location. And good breakfast.
We discovered this little hotel having undertaken quite a lot of research beforehand. We wanted somewhere small and reasonably quiet, no children, next to a beach and had a pool. We also wanted somewhere that had good reviews.
It really did tick all the above and more. This is a delightful hotel, set at the front of a beautiful bay but perhaps most importantly of all it had a great set of staff. After all you can have the best hotel but if the staff aren’t the best as well then that’s what you remember and you wouldn’t think about returning.
We would definitely return here and that’s based on all of the above but especially all the wonderful people that work there. The reception team were so nice especially Andrea and Concha. They were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The bar and restaurant were excellent and always looked after us! We dined there a few nights and the food was always nicely prepared and very tasty. Our room was so well looked after.
We were fine with this but it’s worth noting that the rooftop pool quite small.
Overall a great experience.

This so-called “hotel” is a complete disgrace. They dare to advertise it as a 4-star property, but in reality, it wouldn’t scrape by as a 1-star roadside dive. The breakfast is laughably bad: the “orange juice” is a small amount of juice diluted with water, and the so-called “olive oil” is a cheap, greasy imposter—closer to sunflower oil than anything remotely Iberian. In Spain of all places! It’s insulting, and as someone who actually knows the difference, I found it downright offensive.
Worse still, the management reveals a toxic undercurrent—blatant homophobia. The manager, Alejandro, openly stated that the hotel is “only for families.” That level of prejudice in hospitality is not just unprofessional, it’s shameful.
This isn’t a hotel, it’s a dump with a shiny sign slapped on the front. With so many excellent options in the area, you’d be a fool to waste a single night here. Save your money, your dignity, and your stomach.
What a gem of a place. As previous reviewers have said rooms are on the small side but we had a balcony that was lovely to sit on and watch the world go by. That being said the room was nicely designed and had a spacious bathroom with a great shower.
The location is amazing with a few steps down to the beach.
The included breakfast had everything you could want and was freshly made.
The absolute icing on the cake is the staff. You wouldn't get better service at the most expensive hotel on the island. So helpful and friendly and the ladies on reception went over and above to make our stay just perfect.
I came here with my teenage son for 5 nights. When we arrived it was quite late but the receptionist was so welcoming and friendly. In fact ALL the staff were fantastic. Our room was quite small but I had expected that based on other reviews. But it was clean and had everything that we needed and we only slept in there. I couldn’t stretch to a sea view room with balcony but they did look nice. For us the location of the hotel was an absolute winner. A few steps and you’re on the beach. Being August the beach was quite busy but it was ideal being able to have a sun lounger on the rooftop by the pool, and just walk down the stairs and go for a swim. Then come back to the hotel. It never felt busy, hardly anyone on the pool rooftop terrace. The views from the hotel are stunning (aside from the huge Don Pedro hotel) and the sea water is crystal clear. (Recommend swim shoes). Breakfast - excellent choice. Spar supermarket across the road and a bus stop. Just to note-Lots of steps so not great if you have mobility issues. In short, we absolutely loved this resort and hotel. Perfectly situated, clean, great breakfast and helpful friendly staff. Thank you for a lovely stay.
All employees so kind !
The staff, especially front desk, are very friendly and helpful. The location is Amazing, but space is limited so the area is crowded and tight. Definitely recommend, especially in the off-season. We have become fans of the Hoposa Hotels chain.
Loved it. The beach was beautiful
Absolutely loved this beautiful hotel. Myself and my partner have just spent a week here and we would have stayed for another week if we could have. The location is perfect, right on the beach. All the staff here are so lovely and very attentive. Special mention to Damian and Daniel, the waiters, who went out of their way to make us feel like valued guests! From the reception team, to the waiters and waitresses, to the hotel manager Alejandro, all were so lovely and very much a credit to the Hoposa name. Alejandro took the time to chat with myself and my partner to ask how our stay was, which I thought was a lovely personal touch.
Our first 2 nights, we were lucky to get a sea view room. Beautiful little balcony to sit and have a drink and take it all in. We then had to move to a standard room, which unfortunately didn’t have a balcony but it wasn’t a major issue. Good size room, with a big bathroom and powerful shower.
The only negative with the standard room was that the air conditioning wasn’t great, not much ventilation in the room and it did become quite hot, especially at night.
The food in the hotel, wow, what can I say, AMAZING. Can’t fault any of the dinners that we had here, great portion size, delicious taste and reasonably priced.
Cala San Vicenç is such an idyllic place, with breathtaking views.
We will definitely return to Hoposa Niu in the next year!
We stayed just one night at this small hotel in Cala Sant Vicenç A small and charming hotel facing a beautiful bay. Small but very comfortable and well-equipped room. Excellent breakfast with an incredible view. I really enjoyed my stay and recommend this charming hotel.
Very charming hotel. The room is small but confortable. The breakfast and service very good. The location in incredible.
Lovely hotel and beautiful location. The hotel team were all wonderful and food fabulous. It’s a special place loved being there and would love to return.
Thank you 😊
Sooo schön, so nett, wir wurden echt verwöhnt!
Loved the location and friendly staff. The room was a bit outdated but we appreciated the cleanliness.
Breakfast was excellent. Room was small but clean.
Clean tasteful property with a gorgeous view of a little bay on Mediterranean Sea and a great small beach. Wild Balearean goats share the hills and even the property!
