Great hotel
Pros:

Location staff ambiance booked at short notice Cath on reception was great breakfast was good

L'hôtel est très bien situé au centre et à proximité du château.

Cons:

L'hôtel est vieillot, sans ascenseur pour accéder aux étages. L'eau est non potable dans la chambre et aucune bouteille ou carafe d'eau n'est disponible dans la chambre !
Nous avions une chambre juste au dessus du groupe de ventilation, il a bien été arrêté pour la nuit mais tout à redémarrer à 6h du matin. Nous avons été réveillés, c'était très bruyant !

Very strong BO (Body odour) smell in room from previous occupant, was very off putting. Some air freshmer would not go astray.

A true Irish experience
Pros:

Genuine Irish hospitality. Special shout out to the lovely lady at reception. Loved the craic in the bar. Really good breakfast and dinner. Cahir is a real gem and this stay was one of the highlights of our trip. Skip Dublin. Go to Cahir.

Have been before and will go again, real traditional Irish feel with lovely people & great comfort.
Pros:

Room was very spacious, had double and two singles so avoids having to get multiple rooms, bathroom was very nice with large corner bath and shower, bar/ food/ breakfast good quality and waiter service not buffet which was nice. Staff very friendly. Nice outside area with heating and seating for smokers so not standing around in corners, big enough for people to sit and eat/ drink outside if they want to and free large car park at the back.

Cons:

Only critic for the hotel is lack of lift, although they try to give first floor rooms to older customers, even that is three sets of steps but carrying luggage up 3/4 sets of stairs is not great and a little dangerous.
