Location was perfect for walking into city centre, the art gallery, the museum, the river. the park opposite was amazing especially during the heatwave. Claire on Reception was a brilliant brand ambassador. 5 stars to her.
Room 17 window frames were rotten mouldy. Totally spoiled the whole ambience. To be fair it probably first time they have been open in ages because of the heatwave.
Cost of drinks in fridge were just greed personified, £2.75 for a small bottle of water .
Coffee machine had no user instructions
The location is fantastic, easy walking distance from both the train station and the main sights of the city. The room is a good size and has a comfortable bed. In a quiet location. I knew in advance but most rooms are up or downstairs.
I wish there was a mirror right over the sink, it was a bit awkward although there is a very high mirror and a mirror right outside the bathroom door.

Staying during the heatwave meant it was extremely hot, however, obviously not at the fault of the hotel.
Didn't have breakfast so can't rate. The location of Jorvik house was v good, near the river and city centre, which was excellent because we watched a show nearby which was only about 20mins away. The hotel is lovely and modern.

We've stayed at Jorvik House multiple times and loved it every time. It's ideally located and beautifully decorated. The staff are always really lovely and helpful. We can't wait to stay again!

Great location, friendly staff and nicely stocked mini bar, room was a decent size, clean and the bathroom was perfect size with a great shower. We had an issue with the onsite parking which wasn’t the hotels fault and they did everything to try and sort it. We’ll definitely stay here again.
Ein tolles B&B mit super Lage. Zimmer und Bad waren sehr gross und gemütlich, die Betten sehr bequem. Das Personal war hilfsbereit und freundlich. Frühstück ebenfalls top!
