Jorvik best hotel in York in my opinion
Pros:

First and foremost is location opposite an old abbey and park a 5 min walk through park yr in middle of york
Absolutely fantastic staff a d room particularly loved the bathroom

Very attractive looking property
Pros:

Lovely walk near the river from the train station. Comfortable facilities and friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again

Great location. Easily accessible.

Cons:

It was quite noisy at some points. We had a room (20) next to the cupboard that the housekeeper accessed for cleaning materials the next day. It wouldn’t put me off staying again however.

Beautiful house, fantastic location.
Pros:

This is our 3rd stay at Jorvik house, we just love it, location and hotel are wonderful. Stayed in different rooms each time and cannot fault it. Highly recommend.

Would stay again but not in that room.
Pros:

Location was good and staff very helpful. Well stocked mini bar!

Cons:

Bed not particularly comfortable and unable to watch tv due to its location. Velux window blinds did not open so could not appreciate the view or have good natural light.

Really lovely & welcoming very friendly reception
Pros:

The hotel was really clean and welcoming. The facilities were great. The mini bar well stocked. Will definitely stat here again on our next visit to York

If i HAD to complain about anything it was the breakfast BUT that would deter me from staying again.

First class stay
Pros:

Location was spot on, easy access to city through museum park which is right opposite. Train station just a five minute walk away. Hotel was clean and very easygoing.

Cons:

The bed in the first room we were given was very hard and the on suite was too small, we were moved to a different room which was perfect.
