Lovely room, great location and very reasonable on price. I’d definitely go back
Pros:

Really close to city centre and our room overlooked the abbey gardens.

Cons:

Nothing. They have limited parking but we managed to book a space. Long term parking in York is quite expensive so would recommend booking a space as early as possible

Would like to return but wary of the negative reception if we were to do so.

Cons:

After a very long drive down from Scotland the welcome from the receptionist was rude, she was unhelpful and tainted the last day of our road trip. Fed back to the morning receptionist who couldn’t have been more opposite.

Good location, slightly disappointed with the facilities

Cons:

Poor quality pilows, twin beds fastened together to make a double - not comfortable . Tea stains around the bin, which hadn’t been cleaned . Cobwebs , bathroom extractor not working - no window in there wither - signs of mould and plaster peeling .
Room was cold no instructions for how to use the heater , reception did help when we called the
However . Expensive Mini bar but no cold water provided in the room . Tao water only .
