The steak house next door

Cons:

The pool had zero shade
The toilets down near the pool are unkept
The toilets near the kitchen smell like somethings died in there i raised my concern with reception they were full aware of the smell and just said ok

The buffet breakfast was certainly not worth the money at all and i requestes a poached egg be soft yet was like a golf ball we experianced the same eggs both days was awful
Also to see a male staff member maybe the cook grabbing handfuls of bacon with his hands and walking back in the kitchen really put us off the food
Also such a shame lactose free milk u need to pay extra
Reception cookies were awful compared to our last stay
Our room was very hot no air flow
i did request a room with a view and got no view at all but a vacant block of rubbish sadly we wont be back

Great Location
Pros:

Ideally located on Palmer Street surrounded by restaurants, cafes and some retailers. 24 hour reception. Friendly front desk staff. Bed linen is fresh and clean.

Cons:

Housekeeping is a bit hit and miss. My bed was made one day but not another day. My bathroom could’ve done with a bit of maintenance. Leaking taps unless you turn them off really tightly. Also felt that in a room that sleeps two, that two hand towels, and two face washers could be provided instead of just one. It’s the little things.

Highly recommend, would definitely stay there again.
Pros:

Great location, undercover and outside carparking. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Cons:

No cutlery/plates etc in the room should we decide to eat in our room.

Excellent room, terrible bathroom.
Pros:

The bed was very comfortable, room temperature was good, the room furnishings were attractive and the room was spotless, and the staff were lovely and helpful, but the bathroom needs some love. As shown in the photos, the toilet seat and the paint on the shower tiles and on the wall is peeling, the sink is badly chipped and the tiles above the sink are damaged from something being removed. There was also mould on the ceiling above the door into the room. Lift your game Rydges, this is sloppy.
