Highly recommend, would definitely stay there again.
Pros:

Great location, undercover and outside carparking. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Cons:

No cutlery/plates etc in the room should we decide to eat in our room.

Excellent room, terrible bathroom.
Pros:

The bed was very comfortable, room temperature was good, the room furnishings were attractive and the room was spotless, and the staff were lovely and helpful, but the bathroom needs some love. As shown in the photos, the toilet seat and the paint on the shower tiles and on the wall is peeling, the sink is badly chipped and the tiles above the sink are damaged from something being removed. There was also mould on the ceiling above the door into the room. Lift your game Rydges, this is sloppy.

Good Location for short stay in Townsville
Pros:

Good location, easy walk to restaurants, and the CBD. Onsite parking. We stayed in a King Suite. The bed was comfortable and the view was lovely. The bathroom was newly renovated. The room was quite spacious. The staff were friendly and accomodating.

Cons:

Facilities in this room were extremely limited. There is no microwave, a very small fridge, water and wine glasses and tea and coffee facilities, but there are no plates or cutlery other than coffee mugs and teaspoons. There was a basic lounge, a small desk with chair and a small, older style coffee table. The photos of the room when we were booking indicated there were two other lounge chairs, but not in our room. Servicing of the room was limited.
