Perfect staff. Very friendly and helpful. Great selection of simple do it yourself breakfast items. The room was very neat and tidy and the bed was one of the most luxurious and softest I have ever experienced! Amazing location for the price. And only a 3 minute walk from the Hagia Sophia, right in the heart of the old city! Would definitely come again!
My room was on one of the top floors so I had to walk a few flights of stairs whenever I came back to the hotel, as there is no elevator. Also there is a student hostel and bar right beside the hotel, so it tended to be a bit noisy late at night. But as I remember after 11pm (or so) it all quieted down.
The breakfast was absolutely fabulous. So was the room and the staff. The location was also perfect. Couldn’t have stayed at a better place in Istanbul.

Had a great stay at Modern Sultan Hotel, excellent location, clean and comfortable room, and a warm, pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay. Special thanks to Idris and Laila for their very welcoming hospitality; they were incredibly kind, helpful, and made us feel truly at home. Highly recommended and would happily stay here again.

El colchón se hunde demasiado y mi espalda lo pasó mal. No hay ascensor, si te toca plantas de arriba toca subir y bajar escaleras
La posizione, molto centrale.
La mancanza di un ascensore ma considerato che si tratta di una struttura molto classica ci può stare.
Nice view, nice room, good beds, nice staff very helpful , they helped us with parking
The toilet water was broken and the doublebed duvet was too small for that bed but all these can be fixed I recommend this hotel

The hotel’s cat is adorable! Very good location, close to super famous touristic places, very nice and friendly staff! Especially the Azerbaijan lady, who’s cooking breakfast (sorry writing review a little late that’s why unfortunately forgot her name🙇🏻♀️). Also the hotel has terrace at the entrance where is very lovely have a cup of tea or coffee taming their cat
