Pros:

The property was within 600metres to the mcg and was a rather quite street.

Cons:

The room itself appeared very dated, bathroom especially looked like it had alot of 'home repairs'.
Tried to use the bathroom as little as possible due to the cleanliness. Toilet did not flush properly and we did not even use the shower due to the cleanliness. The kitchen sink also had a rather bad smell coming from it.

Convenient

Cons:

The bedding was not clean; there was hair on the sheets, and I had to ask reception to change them. There was no heater or fan in the bathroom, so after a shower, it got humid. There is a window, but you wouldn't want to keep it open at night to get rid of the humidity.

Pros:

Host was very helpful, helped us with parking and even offered to carry bags. Proximity to MCG and AAMI Park is fantastic.

Cons:

The place is run down. Almost everything from the carpets to the curtains need replacing. No lift, the family room is on level 2 so have to carry everything up the stairs.

This hotel is exceptionally cheap, both for Melbourne in general and certainly for its location – a quiet street in East Melbourne. If you bear that in mind, it doesn’t matter that the interior and the stairwell, etc., look a bit shabby. That’s what you’ve chosen.
The room had everything we needed, from a bathroom to a small kitchenette with all the essentials. And a comfortable bed, in a quiet location. The staff at reception were friendly. Bear in mind there’s no lift; you’ll need to go up and down a few flights of stairs.

Cons:

The hotel’s interior and overall look could do with a bit of a refresh. But as I said, it offers excellent value for money.

Regret booking here
Pros:

The apartment is close by to MCG ground and the Rod Laver Arena.

Cons:

The room was stinking when we entered. We couldn't even open the windows as the windows came off its rails.It was the same with the bathroom as well. It didn't have any exhaust fan nor could I open the windows. In the photos, the room looks looks like it has been decently maintained. However, I was disappointed when I entered. I couldn't even cancel my booking as the staffing hours is minimal and I was checking in outside of office hours.
I have stayed at a few backpackers that were better than this apartment.
I am never booking this location again.

Helpful staff and good value accommodation close to CBD.
Pros:

Great location in a quiet area, close to public transport. Staff were lovely and helpful. Mini kitchen was great to have. Good value for money. Would stay again.

Could be better
Pros:

We went for the football so it was a fantastic location. 5 min walk to the MCG and only a few tram stops to the CBD.

Cons:

Very outdated and needs some TLC. A small complaint with the vending machine in the lobby had no eft option.
