Great facilities at this hotel
Pros:

Room was spacious and overlooked the pool.

was a bit noisy down the corridor at night but the hotel was packed with festival goers so I was to be expected. Didnt last long.

Great for a 2 night stay
Pros:

It was classy looking hotel from the reception to the our room.
Parking was a little tight when we arrived because there was a music event on locally & the hotel full of fans.
Our room faced the swimming pool & had views of Mt Taranaki which was a nice touch.
A good layout with comfortable bed, table & chairs in front of the window, fridge.
The bathroom contains a good shower & complementary toiletries.
We used their Marbles restaurant as it was Valentine’s Day weekend when we stayed & wanted a guaranteed place to eat. It’s a buffet & was quite busy with folk having the same idea - price is the same whether you eat nothing or stuff yourself silly $55 each plus drinks.
We had a drink from the bar - friendly staff & prices reasonable for a hotel.
There’s some great artwork & sculptures dotted around the hotel & grounds.
There’s laundry facilities on site but we didn’t use them.

A welcomed home away from home
Pros:

I am a repeat customer here. This is my go-to accom. and I am NEVER disappointed. The service is second to none, beds are super comfortable, rooms are clean and the restaurant and bar are incredible.

Perfect for my needs.
Pros:

I really liked the friendliness of the staff, the clean and tidy room, the breakfasts were great and the restaurant buffet was excellent. The bar staff were very friendly.

Cons:

The only downside, was just that there were too many children in the pool when I wanted to go in, then the weather packed in so it became a non issue.

One of the best places in New Plymouth
Pros:

Cons:

Room 748 was small and a little tired. This was a complimentary upgrade, reasonably unimpressed. Carpet frayed and damaged under the TV. Bedside light wasn't working and bathroom door didn't shut. Got to be the next room for a do up

Good place to stay for a night or two if you’re on the road.
Pros:

Friendly staff. Free laundry room. Nice restaurant and bar. They have a pool and jacuzzi which were nice.

Cons:

Rooms are basic, but okay. WyFy can be a bit fickle. About a 15-20 walk to the town center, but shoreline is closer.
