The Hotel, as the name implies, is close to many sights, and is literally next to the Old Town. There are many great restaurants nearby, including BarSa and Tapas Bar and Restaurant.
There was a variety of hot and cold items on the breakfast buffet. The staff that we dealt with were awesome, especially Diana and Ivan, who were very helpful. They were awesome!
True to its name, Hotel Central is right in the heart of the old town. All the sights, shops and restaurants are within walking distance.
Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable if a little small. Great bed, plenty of tea/coffee and storage space. Ensuite was modern and clean, shower sprays at a bit of an odd angle though which floods the bathroom every time.
All in all a solid choice for Sarajevo.
Our room was above an incredibly loud bar. The music was thumping and it sounded like we were ataying in a nightclub on the Friday and Saturday night when they turned it up.
The gotel description is incorrect. There is no room service, no snack/deli bar, no bar or restaurant. There is a buffet breakfast until 11am, but dont expect to find any hot food left by 10am. Our rooms were quite dirty, especiallythe carpet. There were holes and stains on our sheets, the coffee and tea wasn't replenished for the 5 nights we stayed so we had to keep asking for more. The towels were hard and the cleaners didn't service the room until 5pm. This is the time we would come back to our room after a day of sightseeing and wanted to relax for an hour or so before getting ready to go out for dinner - we had to go and sit in the lobby until they had finished.
nice breakfast.
Great location, friendly staff Dajana was extremely helpful making sure we got around to see the sights and arranging our taxis.
We received a warm welcome throughout our stay!
Loved the room and location, so walkable in old town Sarajevo for shopping and dining.
Love how central the hotel is, true to its name. The staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast with food to choose, tasty and fresh. The place has an amazing sauna and steam room, plus the whole area was super clean. Would recommend staying there
Top location, nice people
Location and staff were excellent
Hotel was lovely and the pool was a real surprise- kids loved it. Breakfast was great.
Location is amazingly central but be aware that if you have one of the front bedrooms they overlook the street full of bars so it was pretty noisy on Friday and Saturday night.
Located on 'club street' not one for the light sleepers, rooms are tired and spa layout is silly, plus many uncovered drains in pool whixh are dangerous.
Walkable to everywnere, basic but tasty breakfast. Not sure if I would return to this hotel but i would recommend for location
This hotel is bang in the middle of town right next to the bars, amazing location but not for a light sleeper.
The beds and basins are all very tall, not for shorter people.
The spa had most jets out of order and bo covers on the drains in pool which is dangerous. Also very strange layout.
Was a nice stay but probably wouldn't return to this hotel.
I loved the pool and the room is lovely
Very nice hotel. Excellent location. It does get loud at night as there are a lot of bars near by.
A wonderful older, well-maintained hotel in the heart of the city blessed with a caring, courteous, and helpful staff.
Room was quite hot despite the aircon which seemed to only have one temp. Laundry facility unavailable due to a broken machine. Front desk quite friendly. Breakfast ok depending on what time you went as items were not replenished if it was later in the morning.
Our room was described as a balcony suite. There are no balconies in this hotel. The design was peculiar, to say the least. Staff was pretty unfriendly and the included breakfast has to be one of the saddest in the region. Location is good, though. There are better options around.
Great location, amazing gym, pool and spa. Complimentary breakfast was good with many options. The only complaint is the hair dryer was not working and they didn’t have any solution until the next day when we were leaving.
Hotel is in a great location and offers a good breakfast. Front desk staff are not very friendly - we were a group of eight and multiple people noticed this.
Hotel is in need of maintenance - terrible smell from bathroom drains noticed intermittently in 3 of the 4 rooms we had booked. Fan/AC does not work so very hot in the rooms.
Noisy outside but windows do offer soundproofing.
The hotel was great with clean and well appointed rooms. Excellent location very close to everything. Great breakfast. But the best was the staff Anes and Alma were amazing.
