Comfortable and friendly with fantastic coffee and breakfast next door.
Pros:

Well located near shopping area and wharf with a great cafe next door. Room was comfortable with lovely big soft towels in bathroom.

Cons:

Lifts were temporarily nonoperational during my stay, but staff allocated me to a lower floor which was appreciated. Hotel currently being refurbished which will improve room aesthetics.

Perfect and will be back. Nice to have everything on site including the off street parking.

This is our second stay at this Hotel and it wont be our last.
Pros:

We liked everything this hotel offered us , from the little coffee shop that you were able to get a light meal from and the best coffee in town, and it has off street parking. The kitchenette is well equipped the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very roomy and the towels were large and soft.
The staff from the front desk, restaurant and cleaners were all very pleasant and helpful.
The hotel is walking distance to the town centre.

There is nothing that we did not like about Hotel Nelson

Pros:

Friendly staff. Loved the Sauna and Icebath. The heated pool and steam room is free but you do have to pay a little extra for sauna and icebath - only like $40-$50 for a group of you.
